In this message from Genesis 3:14–24, Pastor Darrell explores what happened after Adam and Eve sinned. Their rebellion brought pain, frustration, brokenness, and death into the human story. Yet even as God pronounced judgment, His grace was already visible.
God came looking for those who were hiding from Him (Genesis 3:8–9). He promised that the offspring of the woman would ultimately defeat the serpent (Genesis 3:15). And when Adam and Eve’s attempts to cover their own shame proved inadequate, God Himself provided a covering for them (Genesis 3:21).
Genesis 3 reminds us that sin has real and painful consequences, but it also introduces a truth that will unfold throughout the rest of Scripture: when humanity runs from God, God comes looking for humanity—and He already has a plan for redemption.
