By definition, Set Apart, means “to separate something and keep it for a special purpose.” I believe that YOU have been set apart by your Heavenly Father for a purpose beyond your wildest dreams. During our Set Apart episodes, you will hear from a variety of followers’ and their journey with the Lord and will quickly learn how uniquely set apart each of our stories are on purpose and for a purpose.
Comparison can be so subtle. Sometimes it looks like jealousy, insecurity, or feeling like we’re falling behind. Other times, it’s quietly convincing us that someone else’s life, calling, appearance, relationships, or success somehow says something about our own worth.
In this episode of Set Apart, we’re having an honest conversation about comparison—including our own personal struggles with it and the ways we’ve seen it show up in our lives. We talk about what happens when we measure our journey against someone else’s, why comparison can steal our contentment, and what the Lord is teaching us about identity, purpose, and learning to embrace who He created us to be.
