Welcome to Set Free Radio where our mission is to positively impact our community and social media with the hope of Jesus Christ thru Christian rap & conversations! We're a podcast/online radio show hybrid that basically takes on a current, important topic each episode and looks at it from a Biblical viewpoint in a way that makes sense. Sometimes we even do interviews! We also play plenty dope Christian rap that’ll make you nod your head! All music is used for promotional use only and most songs are used with the permission of the artists. We DO NOT own the rights to any of this music!
Episode 78. The Easy Yoke w/ Nate Hill
Join us for a powerful conversation with Nathaniel “Nate” Hill Jr.—a follower of Jesus, husband, father, and ministry leader for nearly two decades.
Nate shares his story of growing up in Southern California during the crack epidemic and how a pastor—who would later become his father-in-law—invested in him, introduced him to Jesus, and helped shape the way Nate now pours into young people through Young Life.
We also dive into Nate’s new book, The Easy Yoke, written during a two-month sabbatical after a weary season of ministry and leadership. We talk about rest, surrender, leadership, and learning to carry what Jesus actually calls us to carry.
Connect with Nate on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram @nate_tha_gr3at, and find The Easy Yoke on Amazon, Spotify, and wherever books are available.

Episode 77. Get Out Of Your Bubble Pt. 2 🫧🚫
Episode 77. Get Out Of Your Bubble Pt. 2 🫧🚫
Welcome to Set Free Radio where our mission is to positively impact our community and social media with the hope of Jesus Christ thru Christian rap and conversations!
On episode 77 we go all the way back to a topic we covered in Episode 18 back in 2021 but with all the increased polarization & political violence it seems even more necessary now. We break down what it means to live in a “bubble” — the echo chambers that divide us by politics, race, status, and even church culture. We talk about why staying in a bubble hurts our witness and how Jesus calls us to unity, empathy, and stepping outside our comfort zone. With this being on the radio, this will just be an audio only episode. Hope you enjoy & please stay tuned as we figure this whole new season out!
All music is used for promotional use only and most songs are used with the permission of the artists. We DO NOT own the rights to any of this music! Please go support these artists by buying music, merch, streaming their songs, and following them on social media!
