Ever wonder why you keep repeating the same relationship patterns, struggle with boundaries, or find it difficult to practice what you believe? Born out of my experience as a single mother of two attending seminary (the place where some people go to study religion), Sex In The Seminary was inspired by the real-life parallels between my fellow seminarians and Carrie Bradshaw’s journey on Sex and the City. I discovered that spiritual growth doesn’t exempt us from life’s challenges but it teaches us how to navigate them differently. Hosted by Coach Joy, also known as Amelia Strang, author of Sex in the Seminary, this podcast explores love, spirituality, sex, sexuality, intimacy, relationships, power and personal transformation. Through honest conversations with therapists, ministers, coaches, metaphysicians, and other experts, we unpack the patterns and behaviors that shape our lives and offer practical tools to help you build healthier relationships, deepen self-awareness, and align your actions with your values.
