And Tony allegedly gave these false records to his lieutenant, Bill Turnblazer, as part of the cover up. And Boyle arranged to have those notes sent to each of these mine workers with what was supposed to be the story. Prosecutor Richard Sprague again. When he says mine workers there, he means the union. We found with one of the mine workers the notes that were sent to him and on those notes were the fingerprints of Tony Boyle. Tony Boyle did not know that we had recovered one of the actual notes. […]
