Episode 20 - Lyrical Genius, John the Baptist & Be Bold
Episode 20 is one that brought us both so much joy! 🩷
First and foremost, we are so thankful for Jesus and the platform He has given us. None of this would be possible without Him. We’re also incredibly grateful for the overwhelming love and support we’ve received from our friends and family. Your encouragement means more to us than you know!
Our prayer has always been that these episodes would bless y’all as much as they have blessed us. We pray that the Lord continues to use this podcast for His glory and allows us to keep doing it for as long as He sees fit. 🤍
In this episode, we’re talking about a few things that made us smile, laugh, and think a little deeper.
🎶 Lyrical Genius
We shared some songs that we would personally describe as “lyrical genius.” You know those songs where you hear a lyric and think, “Okay…that was GOOD.” We talk about some of our favorites and what makes certain lyrics stand out.
🎨 Painting & Fun Times
We also reminisce about some fun times we had painting at a cute local spot. Sometimes the simple moments with good people are the ones that stick with you!
🔥 Be Bold. Be Different.
We dive into what it means to be bold, to be different, and to not be afraid of standing out when God has called you to something different.
And when we think about someone in the Bible who was not afraid to be different, one person immediately comes to mind:
John the Baptist.
John wasn’t concerned with fitting in. He boldly proclaimed the message God had given him, even when it meant standing apart from everyone else.
And honestly? Being different isn’t always easy.
In a world where it can feel so much easier to blend in, our prayer is that we learn from John the Baptist and become more willing to stand boldly for what God has called us to—even when it’s uncomfortable, unpopular, or different.
Being bold for Jesus is a goal worth reaching for. 🙏🏼
Thank you for listening, supporting, sharing, and praying for us. We are so grateful you’re here. 🩷

Episode 19 - Ruth, Trusting In Uncertainty, 90s commercials
In this episode of She Steeps It, She Brews It, the sisters talk about one of our fellow women of God who obeyed and followed through with the unknown. This isn’t always an easy task, as we as humans have the hardest time letting go and letting God.
Ruth is one of those women that reminds us that we don’t have to know the answers to know that God has purpose in His plans. Have you been in a season like that? A season where God asks you to trust Him, and the situation you’re in just is not making sense? He doesn’t always ask for our understanding, He asks for our obedience.
In what area of your life are you needing God to show up like only He can?
Can we pray for you?
Send us a message and we are happy to stand in agreement when you!
We pray that this episode blesses you, as it has us.
We are thankful for the opportunity to share Gods word with you everyday, and ask for prayer through all of it.
May God bless you this week, in Jesus name!

EP 18 Imago Dei, The Funk, Belong
Have you ever heard that Latin phrase before?
It means “Image of God.”
I think we forget this sometimes. We are Gods most precious creation. His favorite. And have you seen the wonderful mountains? The sky? The flowers? The ocean? Yup! We’re the favorite.
It almost makes you feel unworthy, right? And we are. But He is so gracious and good that we don’t have to ask to be loved. He just does it anyway. The sisters talk about how beautiful it is to know that no matter what, He assures us that we BELONG to HIM!
We hope you enjoy this episode!
Love y’all!
