About She Who Receives
She Who Receives is hosted by Diana Eskander, Relationship Expert and founder of The School of Love®️. This podcast explores the sacred dance between the feminine and masculine - where women deepen into receivership and men rise in their provider energy. Rooted in Diana’s signature method, The SELF Centered Woman, each episode invites you to embody your feminine nature through standards that whisper, “I’m worth it.” Together, we’ll redefine what it means to receive, not as passivity, but as profound power. You’ll learn how to soften without losing strength, to open without self-abandonment, and to make receivership the ultimate permission slip for love, devotion, and abundance. Welcome to a space where feminine embodiment becomes your way of being - and receiving becomes your art.

How Receiving Changed Her Relationship After 20 Years
What if your relationship could become more connected, playful, and alive with time? We hear so much about the honeymoon phase — the idea that relationships begin with chemistry and excitement, then eventually become comfortable and a little less sparkly. But what if it doesn’t have to be that way? What if the love you’ve built over 20 years could become even deeper, more intimate, and more alive? In this episode, I sit down with Mette, a member of the Portal of Love community and a Holistic Empowerment Coach, to talk about the transformation she’s experienced within herself and her relationship. Meet Mette Mette is a Holistic Empowerment Coach and founder of Dare to Rest. She guides women (and men) to come home to their bodies, reclaim their power, and create lives that feel as good as they look. She challenges the old rules of womanhood — the ones that taught us to push through, put ourselves last, and disconnect from our bodies to succeed. Her work combines embodiment, self-leadership, pleasure, and personal growth to help women live with more freedom, aliveness, and self-trust. Mette believes we don’t need to become less ambitious — we need to learn how to be ambitious without abandoning ourselves, while enjoying the hell out of life. And here’s what makes her story so beautiful: Nothing was wrong. She was already in a loving partnership of more than 20 years. But she could feel there was another level of connection, polarity, chemistry, pleasure, and surrender available. For years, Mette had been the one holding everything together. The achiever. The hyper-independent woman. The one making decisions and taking care of things. Underneath it all was a yearning to soften. To trust. To receive. To stop being the one who had to do everything. In this conversation, we explore what happened when she began creating space for her partner to step up — and how that shift transformed their relationship. In this episode, we explore: What it costs to always be the one holding everything together Mette’s desire for more feminine energy, polarity, chemistry, and connection Her fear that her feminine wouldn’t call forward her partner’s masculine What changed when she practised trust and surrender How giving her partner space allowed him to step up Why healthy polarity includes both giving and receiving How self-pleasure expanded her capacity to receive What changed in their sex life, chemistry, flirting, and freedom Her partner’s reflection: “Your feminine has awakened my masculine.” Why you don’t have to wait until something is wrong to deepen your relationship This conversation is about so much more than feminine and masculine energy. It’s about our capacity to slow down, trust, surrender, and receive. Because sometimes the next level isn’t about doing more. It’s about becoming available for more to meet you. There is always more capacity for surrender. More pleasure. More depth. More love. It’s infinite.

7 Relationship Myths That Might Be Sabotaging Love
What if some of the relationship advice you've always believed is actually keeping you from the love you desire? "Relationships take hard work." "Never go to bed angry." "If they loved you, they'd just know." We've all inherited beliefs about love that sound wise on the surface, but when we follow them without curiosity or nuance, they can quietly create unnecessary suffering. In this episode, Emmy puts Diana in the hot seat with a series of relationship myths she’s prepared (that Diana will be hearing in the moment), inviting an honest, unscripted conversation about what healthy partnership really looks like. Together, they explore why love isn't about following rigid rules, but about learning to discern what creates safety, connection, and genuine growth. From communication and compatibility to self-worth and receiving, this conversation invites you to question the stories you've accepted as truth, and discover what becomes possible when you create your own definition of love. In this episode, we explore: Why "relationships take hard work" may be one of the most misunderstood pieces of relationship advice The difference between effort, devotion, and emotional struggle Whether the "right" relationship should actually feel easy Why you don't have to solve every conflict before going to bed The myth that your partner should automatically know what you need and why clear communication creates deeper intimacy Why your partner isn't meant to complete you, but to complement you Why shared values and a willingness to grow matter more than love alone How believing your needs are "too much" impacts your relationships The powerful practice of learning to receive love, support, and care from the people who genuinely want to give it This episode is for anyone who has ever wondered if they're "doing relationships wrong". It is an invitation to loosen your grip on the rules you've inherited, become curious about the nuance, and remember that the healthiest relationships aren't built on perfection. Instead, they're built on partnership, devotion, and two people who are willing to keep choosing love.

Healing Your Relationships Through Family Constellations
What if the patterns playing out in your relationships started long before you ever met your partner? This week I'm joined by Albert Bissada, a family constellations facilitator, hypnotherapist, and dream work practitioner whose work has played a profound role in my own life and marriage. In this conversation, we explore why so much of what surfaces in our love lives has roots in our family systems, and what becomes possible when we finally bring health to those bonds. Join us as Albert explores why we choose partners who echo the love we didn't receive as children, why cutting cords never actually works, and what it means to accept our parents' love as it was given rather than grieving the love we wanted. In this episode, you’ll hear: What a family constellation actually is, how a group constellation unfolds, and the mysterious phenomenon that allows complete strangers to embody your family's story The difference between family constellations and inner child work — and why you can't truly meet the child without meeting the mother and father around her Why we unconsciously choose partners who recreate the lack we felt as children — and how accepting the love our parents did give changes everything about how we show up in love Inside Albert's five-week Sacred Bond journey — Jack and I witnessing each other's childhoods, honouring past bonds, and envisioning the love story we want to tell together Albert's perspective on masculine and feminine energy — why a woman's admiring gaze is a genuine energy transfer to her partner, and why carrying more drains her while it strengthens him This one is for the woman who knows the friction in her relationship started long before the relationship did. She who receives changes everything. Inside the Room: The She Who Receives Live Event
What would change if you stopped being so available? In a way that actually leaves room for life, and the people in it, to meet you where you are. Most of us were taught that being a good woman means being generous, nurturing, and there for those who need it. We wear this belief like a badge of honor, until it slowly turns into resentment, burnout, and a loss of ourselves that's hard to even name. After over a decade of doing this work and living it inside my own relationship, I've learned that true feminine energy isn't about giving more. It's about learning to receive. And most of us were never taught that receiving is just as sacred and necessary. This week’s episode is a special recording from the very first She Who Receives event, an intimate live gathering in Montreal where I held a conversation that only happens in rooms that feel safe enough to tell the truth. In this episode, I share: Why the exhaustion so many of us feel has everything to do with availability in relationships — and how little we allow ourselves to receive The breakup conversation of an 8-year relationship that changed everything about how I show up in love How self-abandonment shows up far beyond romance — in your relationship with money, your family, and yourself The practice that has genuinely alchemized my relationship, my energy, and the dynamic between masculine and feminine energy in my home An announcement that has been living in my heart since 2022 — and that I'm finally ready to share This one is for the woman who has spent her whole life showing up for everyone else. The one who is ready to find out what happens when she finally stops running on empty and starts letting life meet her. She who receives changes everything.

Money, Honey: How I Healed My Relationship With Money Using Feminine Energy
What if the way you relate to money is the same way you've related to love? This week, I'm getting deeply personal about one of the most requested topics from this community: money. Not the spreadsheets and savings accounts kind of money conversation, but the kind that lives in your body, your beliefs, and your energy. I'm taking you all the way back to my roots. I was born in Egypt, immigrated to Canada at two and a half years old, and watched my parents rebuild their lives from scratch after their degrees weren't recognized in a new country. The underlying message I absorbed is that money is hard to come by, money is stress, and there’s never quite enough. That scarcity mindset became the lens through which I saw everything, and it followed me well into adulthood. From calling my parents for rent money in Montreal to building a business that has generated close to $3 million in Canada, I’m pulling back the curtain on what had to shift on the inside before anything could change on the outside. And what had to shift was everything I believed about money. Just as I once had an anxious attachment to men, always wondering when they'd leave and never trusting they wanted to stay, I discovered I had the exact same pattern with money. My relationship with money mirrored every pattern I had ever had in my relationships with people. In this episode, I share: Why anxious attachment doesn't just show up in romantic relationships — and how to recognize it in your relationship with money The moment I started moving before the evidence — making investments, saying yes to retreats, hiring coaches, before the money was guaranteed What it means to have sovereignty with money — and why "I can't afford it" is the most disempowering thing you can tell yourself The ring story — a practical and deeply feminine energy reframe for how to relate to desire and money at the same time The money mindset shift that changes everything — from lack frequency to infinite manifestation This episode is for the woman who has worked hard, done the things, and still feels like money is just out of reach. For the woman who checks her bank account with a clenched stomach. For the woman who is ready to stop letting scarcity run the show, and step into the version of her that money is actually chasing. Because she who receives doesn't just receive love. She receives it all.

The Energy That Makes Him Commit - From My Husband’s POV
What does a man actually experience inside a relationship? What makes him lean in, open up, commit, and stay? This week, I'm bringing you a conversation that has been highly requested, and honestly, one I'm so proud we finally recorded. My husband, Jack, joins me for an honest, unscripted, late-night conversation about love, attraction, commitment, devotion in relationships, and what it actually feels like to be a man in a conscious partnership. This is completely unscripted, so what you’re hearing is raw and real. And what came out of it was something I think every woman navigating relationships, or wanting one, needs to hear. So much of the relationship advice out there is told through the woman's lens on how to communicate better, be more magnetic, and get him to open up. But very little is said about what's actually happening inside him. This conversation changes that. For the woman who has ever wondered if her feminine energy really matters, it does. For the woman who sits with commitment fears, questions her availability in relationships, or wonders whether full devotion means losing herself, this episode is for you. Jack has never shared his voice publicly before. So the fact that he's here, being this honest and this open, is itself a kind of love letter. To me, and to every woman listening who has ever wondered what her partner is really thinking. In this episode, we share: What made Jack think "this is the woman I want to spend my life with" — and what made me stand out Why the slow burn signals everything about a woman's availability in relationships Feminine energy as the emotional thermostat of the home — and how it shapes a man's ambition and desire to lead How a woman's energy of lack pulls a man away from expansion — and what shifts when she comes back to herself What happens in a relationship when a woman stops controlling the outcome — and how it frees his masculine energy The truth about devotion in relationships — how a man's commitment is called forward by a woman's trust What it means to be a king for his queen — and the empire built when two whole people come together How attraction grows with time — and what postpartum really looked like from his side Who Jack has had to become through our relationship — and how loving me brought him home to himself This episode is a gift from both of us to you. If you've ever wondered what's really going on inside the man across from you, or what it would take to create more depth, more closeness, and more of that slow-burn devotion in your relationship, this conversation will give you more clarity than a hundred pieces of relationship advice ever could.

Devotion as Freedom: Overcoming Commitment Fears
Explore how devotion can open the door to freedom and depth in relationships, overcoming common commitment fears. Vanessa shares her personal journey balancing feminine and masculine energy. We're talking about devotion. And not the kind that feels heavy, obligatory, or like a loss of self. The kind that actually sets you free. So many women carry a quiet fear that committing fully - to a relationship, to a path, to a vision - means giving something up. That saying yes to one thing means saying no to everything else. That somewhere in the devotion, they'll lose themselves. But what if the opposite is true? Vanessa lived this journey in real time. When we started working together, she had been single for a number of years, deeply passionate and creative, but feeling scattered and afraid to pick a lane. Within months, she met her person. And what unfolded from there is a story about so much more than love. It's a story about what happens when you stop protecting your freedom and start trusting it. Take a breath before you press play. Let yourself get curious about what devotion could mean - not what it has meant before, but what it could open up for you. This one is for the woman who wants it all and is afraid that wanting it all means she can never fully land anywhere. You can connect with Vanessa on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/vfurino (https://www.instagram.com/vfurino) In this episode, we share: Why so many multi-passionate women are afraid to "pick a lane" - in love and in life The limiting belief that committed relationships are boring - and what's really underneath it How Vanessa went from being vague and non-committal to meeting her partner Matthew within months of doing the inner work The fears and doubts that crept in even after meeting the right person - and why that's completely normal What it feels like when your nervous system has to settle into a new rhythm and identity The powerful shift from commitment to devotion - and why that one word changed everything How devotion is actually a masculine energy that allows your feminine to finally rest Why protecting your freedom can leave you feeling anything but free How Vanessa's relationship with prayer and God became an unexpected anchor in her relationship The way full devotion unlocked more playfulness, more momentum, and more of her partner showing up Vanessa's Femme Feu classes and the spirit guide message that told her to commit to a project for six months - and what that devotion built Why showing up even when no one was there gave her roots she still stands on today How our devotion calls forward devotion in others The reminder that you can't reap the seeds you've planted if you don't take a step forward This episode is your invitation to get curious about what devotion really means. Not as a cage. Not as a sacrifice. But as a doorway to more depth, more freedom, and more of yourself than you knew was possible. You are not a woman who plays small to stay safe. You are she who receives.

What to Do When He Pulls Away
In this episode of She Who Receives, I'm diving into something that so many women experience in the early stages of dating - the moment when you feel him pulling back. That moment when the texts slow down, the communication gets quiet, and suddenly your nervous system is on fire. This is one of the most activating experiences for women, even the most secure among us. And it makes sense. But in this episode, I’m offering a reframe, with some real tools to help you come back to yourself when it happens. We explore what's actually going on when a man pulls back, the difference between a subtle retreat and a full-on disappearing act, and what standards you get to hold for yourself through it all. I also share a personal story from just last night - a 2am spiral about money, pressure, and all the things - and how I moved through it using the same tools I'm offering you here. This week is an invitation to stop abandoning yourself in the name of connection, and to remember that with calmness comes clarity. Not the other way around. In this episode, we share: What's really happening when a man pulls back in the early stages of dating The difference between a subtle retreat and a disappearing act - and what you should be available for Why this experience can activate even the most secure women How to recognize when your nervous system response isn't proportionate to what's actually happening The connection between anxious attachment and the "fight" response in your body Practical ways to regulate your nervous system when you're spiraling How to use the SELF method (Sovereignty, Embody, Love Frequency) in real time What to say (and what not to say) when he resurfaces How to communicate your standards without losing your center The difference between attachment and detachment—and what it means to be in your feminine Why your clarity comes from calmness, not the other way around A personal 2am spiral story and how I moved through it The power of breathwork, dropping into the womb, and higher perspective Why his behavior doesn't define your worth—and how to remember who you are The affirmation: I am she who receives. This is not the end of my story. This episode is your reminder to place your crown back on your head, remove the victim mentality, and come into a deeper place of remembrance. You are not a woman who abandons herself for connection. You are she who receives.

From Survival to Self-Led Living
In this episode of She Who Receives, I’m joined by the powerful and deeply embodied Lee-Anne Gordon, a holistic life and business mentor who guides women through transformation, from deconstruction into regeneration. (IG: @the.lee.perspective) We explore what it really looks like to lead yourself through challenge. Lee-Anne opens up about a life-altering health journey that shifted everything - her body, her mind, her identity - and how she chose, again and again, to rise into self-leadership when there were no clear answers. What unfolds is a conversation about devotion, remembrance, and becoming. We dive into what it truly means to not just learn something… but to integrate it into who you are, and the ripple effect that has across your health, your nervous system, your relationships, and your sense of self. We also explore the transformation in Lee-Anne’s relationship: what shifted when she moved from hyper-independence to true receivership, and how that created space for her partner to rise in ways she never could have orchestrated on her own. This one is honest, expansive, and deeply activating. You can connect with Lee-Anne on Instagram here: @the.lee.perspective (https://www.instagram.com/the.lee.perspective/) In this episode, we share: The difference between personal development vs. personal remembrance Why deconstruction is a necessary part of transformation What self-leadership actually looks like in the face of uncertainty How Lee-Anne navigated a complete 180 in her health after a sudden injury The role of holistic living (mind, body, spirit) in true healing Why “integration” isn’t something you do, but who you become The power of devotion as a core driver for lasting change How small, consistent shifts create massive transformation over time The connection between nervous system regulation and your capacity to thrive What happens in relationships when you release control and allow space How moving out of hyper-independence can transform partnership dynamics The importance of identity shifts in creating new realities Why letting go of “going back” is often the key to moving forward How your state of being shapes what you receive in life and love The courage it takes to live differently and lead yourself first This episode is an invitation to strip away what isn’t yours, reconnect with what is, and come back to yourself.

When the “How” Doesn’t Make Sense, That’s Exactly Where the Magic Lives
In this episode of She Who Receives, I’m joined by the beautiful Emmy, my right hand inside of the School of Love and a powerful force behind this She Who Receives movement. Together, we open up a deeply personal and expansive conversation around what we could call… manifesting our dream homes. What’s wild is that this all unfolded at the same time, during a season where we were already stepping into a new era in our partnership, a new era within the School of Love… and, as it turns out, a new era in our lives. This conversation is about the real, human, and often nonlinear process of moving from desire to reality, especially when it doesn’t make sense on paper. We share what it actually looked like to go from A → Z… in ways that felt unreasonable, unfathomable, and completely outside of logic, yet somehow came together more perfectly than we could have planned. These homes became more than just places to live. They became reflections - external expressions of internal expansion, identity shifts, and deep alignment. There are so many layers to this one: the trust, the doubt, the surrender, the stretch… and the magic that meets you when you don’t close the door on what you truly want. You can connect with Emmy on Instagram here: @missemmyc (https://www.instagram.com/missemmyc/) In this episode, we share: What it means to “energize your desire” without needing to control the outcome Why letting go of the timeline can open doors you didn’t even know existed The difference between honoring your reality vs. deciding something isn’t possible How resistance in your body can reveal where your growth is asking for attention The role of identity expansion in creating new realities How life can meet you when you stay open instead of shutting down The emotional duality of growth (joy, fear, grief, expansion, all at once) Why devotion to your truth matters more than following a formula What it looks like to co-create with life instead of trying to control it The power of choosing possibility even when doubt feels louder This episode is filled with deep, deep nuggets of wisdom, and an invitation to trust yourself, your desires, and the unfolding of your life in a whole new way.

Why "Lean Back" is Bad Advice for Women
In this episode of She Who Receives, we deepen the conversation on polarity… but this time, we turn inward. A new lens on masculine and feminine energy comes into view - felt in your relationships, and just as powerfully, within you. This is where things start to click… and where real shifts begin to happen. We step into the idea of the “power couple” within, and what becomes possible when your inner masculine (action, direction, leadership) and your inner feminine (trust, intuition, energy) move together… instead of working against each other. We also challenge the narrative that feminine energy means “leaning back” and why that message has left so many women, especially the driven and ambitious ones, feeling disconnected and confused. This episode is about harmony, self-trust, and learning to live from your center rather than swinging between extremes. In this episode, I share: Why your inner masculine + feminine create your personal “power couple” What it actually looks like to live in harmony instead of extremes Why “leaning back” isn’t the answer (and what to do instead) The concept of “relaxed doing” and how it changes everything How trust fuels action… and action builds deeper trust The infinite loop between your inner masculine and feminine energies Why taking action without alignment creates burnout (and vice versa) How the energy behind what you do matters just as much as the action itself What it looks like to create from love instead of resentment How your internal dynamic shapes your external relationships This conversation is about returning to your center and allowing both parts of you to lead together.

The Polarity That Keeps Love Alive
In this episode of She Who Receives, we step into one of my favorite conversations: polarity. But not in the way you may have heard it before. I share how my understanding of masculine and feminine energy has evolved over time, especially through conversations with this community, and why I no longer experience polarity as opposition, but as harmony. We explore the subtle shifts that happen when attraction starts to dull, how we unconsciously try to make our partners more like us, and what happens when we become overly available… filling every silence, over-explaining every feeling, collapsing the very space that desire needs to breathe. And the sentence from my past - “don’t be so available” - that I didn’t understand at the time… but now see differently. This episode is about chemistry, space, and what happens when we collapse the very tension that creates desire. In this episode, I share: Why polarity feels more like harmony than push and pull What masculine and feminine energy actually mean (beyond gender) The difference between compatibility and chemistry - and why we need both How sameness slowly flattens attraction The energetic difference between confident pursuit and insecure chasing The “infinite loop” between trust and action, giving and receiving The difference between playing games and being playful Where polarity shows up beyond romance — in business, money, and creativity This conversation is about letting desire have room to exist - and allowing the dance to unfold. Thank you for being here with me in this one.

When Doing Less Makes You More Visible
In this episode of She Who Receives, I explore a truth that can feel deeply counterintuitive for so many women: that the moments we are most seen, appreciated, and desired are often the moments we are doing the least. I share a story from a recent Portal of Love call that illustrates this perfectly - a moment where one of our members noticed her partner’s deepest appreciation emerged when she was resting, enjoying herself, or simply being. From there, I unpack why this happens, and how years of conditioning around productivity, self-sacrifice, and “doing it all” can quietly disconnect us from our own light. In this episode, I explore: • Why doing less can actually make you more visible in your relationships • How over-functioning drains your light force and nervous system • How a woman’s emotional and energetic state shapes the tone of the entire household • The ripple effect of stress, resentment, and exhaustion on intimacy and desire • Why feminine energy is not a performance, tactic, or manipulation • How self-care and self-focus become acts of sovereignty and support • What shifts when you turn your attention inward and let yourself receive This episode is an invitation to notice what changes when you put down some of the doing and allow yourself to enjoy more of your life from a place of nourishment, presence, and self-trust.

The Day He Told Me He Loved Me - and Why He Waited
In this second episode of She Who Receives, I continue my love journey with Jack - eight months into a relationship that felt safe, slow, and deeply nourishing, yet began to raise questions about clarity, commitment, and timing. I share the vulnerable moment I asked for direction, the two weeks of uncertainty that followed, and the day Jack finally told me he loved me - explaining why he wanted his actions to speak before his words. From there, I reflect on how our relationship evolved through marriage, motherhood, and the powerful realization that a woman’s emotional and energetic state shapes the tone of the entire household. In this episode, I share: • The moment I knew the relationship needed clarity, not more patience • What it was like to sit in uncertainty after asking for commitment • Why masculine timing and provision matter more than we often realize • The story of the day Jack told me he loved me - and why he waited • How early receivership shaped our relationship foundation • The shifts that happened after marriage and motherhood • Why a woman’s energetic state influences the entire household • What receivership truly means beyond performance or perfection This episode opens the door to deeper conversations around feminine embodiment, polarity, and emotional leadership - and what it really means to live as she who receives.

What “Don’t Be So Available” Taught Me About Love
In the very first episode of She Who Receives, I’m taking you back to where my relationship with love began, from my earliest childhood crush to the eight-year relationship I was convinced would last forever. I share the moment that quietly changed everything: the end of that relationship, and the sentence that stayed with me for over a decade. “Don’t be so available in your next relationship.” At the time, I had no idea what it meant. I only knew it hurt. What followed was a long journey of self-exploration, healing, and pattern-breaking that ultimately shaped the work I do today. This episode is the beginning of that story, and the foundation for everything that comes next. In this episode, I share: How my early fascination with love and relationships began The eight-year relationship that shaped my understanding of partnership The breakup moment that sparked a decade-long journey of self-discovery What “don’t be so available” actually revealed about self-abandonment and emotional availability The patterns I began to notice across relationships, and why I was the common denominator How this journey laid the groundwork for self-sovereignty, polarity, and healing relationship dynamics The beginning of what would later become the SELF Method
