"I got a new job in August, and once I got the position, God reminded me of all the different things I prayed over the years that culminated into me getting this new position, which was a really big promotion for me in my career. And once I got to thinking about it, I was like, wow, you know, for years I prayed for this salary. For years I pray for this type of position in my career."

"Hi, Shelley. How have you been, girl? I haven't seen you on here. Well, here's my answer. I believe that God delays our answers to prayers because we're not ready. I think that ultimately he is our Father that humbles us. And sometimes we can keep playing and keep praying for something we think we need, we think we want, or we think we're ready for. And we might not be, but that's what the greatest part about Jesus is."

"And I was listening to some of the comments you were making too, and it really was encouraging to me because it showed me that God has a plan. God has a plan and that he's working, he has a purpose. And it's a. It's not something we know about really. We're on a needs to know basis. And so sometimes along the way we see things and we see it our way. We pray and we want that to happen."
