Unexpected Truths - Real Repentance Looks Different - September 27, 2026
Ezekiel 18:1-4, 25-34
Why does God call us to repent? Not because he delights in catching us or condemning us, but because he wants us to live. In Ezekiel 18:1–4, 25–32, God confronts his people for blaming others, excusing their own sin, and accusing him of being unfair. Then he gives the unexpected invitation: “Repent and live.”
Real repentance looks different—not merely feeling sorry, but turning away from excuses and turning toward Christ, the Savior who took our guilt on himself so that we could have life.
