Building Freedom, Wealth and Impact with Tina Tower
In this episode, I sit down with my mentor, friend, and online business powerhouse the queen of online business TinaTower, to talk about what it really takes to build a business that creates freedom, income and impact.
Tina began her entrepreneurial journey at just 20 years old, transforming a small suburban tutoring centre into a national franchise with 35 Begin Bright centres and over 120 staff by age 27. After selling the company in 2016, she turned her expertise toward helping service based business owners scale using the systems and strategies she had mastered.
Today, through her flagship membership Her Empire Builder, Tina helps women package their expertise into high impact online courses and scalable businesses that generate meaningful income and freedom. She is the bestselling author of One Life and Million Dollar Micro Business, has been featured on The Today Show, Sky Business and the Financial Review, and was named Telstra National Young Business Woman of the Year. She is also the founder of The Kukua Foundation, funding scholarships for girls in Kenya, and holds a United Nations Diploma supporting her global impact work.
Together, we explore what it looks like to reinvent yourself, show up with confidence, and build a business by design, not by default.
In this conversation, we explore:
✨ Showing up with confidence online
How to become visible, build trust, and feel comfortable showing up even when it feels uncomfortable.
✨ Turning experience into income
Why midlife women are uniquely positioned to build successful businesses by leveraging decades of knowledge and lived experience.
✨ From bricks and mortar to online freedom
How transitioning to online business creates flexibility, scalability and lifestyle freedom.
✨ Building a business and life by design
Creating income, impact and balance without sacrificing what matters most.
Key Takeaways
✔️ Your experience is your edge
What you’ve learned over decades can become valuable expertise and income.
✔️ Confidence comes from visibility
You build confidence by showing up, not waiting until you feel ready.
✔️ Mentors collapse time
Learning from those who’ve walked the path accelerates growth and removes costly trial and error.
✔️ Online business creates freedom and scale
Systems and digital delivery allow you to earn while protecting your time and energy.
✔️ You can build success by design
A business should support your life, not consume it.
This conversation is a powerful reminder that reinvention is possible at any age.
We talk about the courage it takes to pivot, the discomfort of becoming visible, and the growth that happens when you show up before you feel ready. We explore how women in midlife are not starting from scratch—they are starting from experience—and how that experience can be transformed into meaningful work and income.
We also share our belief in mentorship and guidance. Learning from those who have gone before you accelerates momentum, creates clarity and helps you move forward faster with confidence.
Ultimately, this episode is about creating a business and a life by design one that provides freedom, financial independence and the ability to contribute meaningfully while protecting what matters most.
Because reinvention isn’t about starting over.
It’s about using what you know to move forward faster.
