Lifelong wrestling fan, Jon, and recent convert, Cait, explore everything weird, epic, and awful about the world's most-important-least-important thing: professional wrestling, dude.
15. Shootnami Turns One and Fill in the Blank Returns!
Our humble caprice to make fun of the name "WrestlePalooza" has suddenly turned one! How did we lose track of the time?
Probably because we were staring at your stupid silk slacks, dumbass -- but, either way...
We're back to celebrate a year of Shootnami by playing our favorite game and (analytically) yours: Fill in the Blank!
Then, we wrap with our favorite moments from Year 1 and hopes for the next. Here's a hint: we'd like to hear from you!

14. Drafting the All In Card and Revisiting Ospreay-Omega at Forbidden Door 2023
AEW returns to London this weekend for the latest edition of the show that started it all, so we decided to return to our roots and play a little game!
Instead of just previewing the All In card, we're drafting our favorite matches from it to see which of us can book the best mini-show. Then, we finish with a rapid-fire round of prop bets and our very first watch-along: Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay's match at Forbidden Door 2023. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeRrtA0HOPM)
It's a pantheon match for AEW without any context, but even more striking when you see both stars at peak athleticism, knowing they're on the precipice of their greatest career setbacks. We'd highly recommend rewatching it before Sunday, and if you do, we'd love for you to join us!
It's an exciting time on the wrestling calendar (and, perhaps, a new day). We hope you enjoy the episode and the Wembley scenes Sunday night!

13. The Pilot is Drunk
Fresh off another two-night WWE tentpole that could've just been an email, we turn on the mics and try our best to diagnose whether the Fed's creative stagnation is just a temporary rut--or something more intentional.
We're also joined by Grayson Waller.
(...We're not, but he would've been right at home in the third chair for this discussion.)
It's not all concern-trolling, though. We start with our favorite moments from this year's "Biggest Party of the Summer," and we close with the promising opening salvo for AEW's All In build.
Actually, we close with plugs because we're ALL IN your socials...or at least, we could be:

We're back with a wide-ranging episode to cover an eventful six-ish weeks. No syllabus today; we're just taking turns bringing things to the floor because we love them, or are just intrigued.
We're also joined by our newest stablemate: our little Velcro girl! You gotta start building their brands young so they can actually have careers when they're older.
(Postpartum isn't in the title just for alliteration.)
We're so glad (and surprised) to be back. We hope you beautiful marks enjoy!

10. The Darby Dynasty Begins and WrestleMania Runs Out of Road
With the newest addition to our royal wrestling family arriving in a matter of days, we're delivering what will likely be our last long episode for the foreseeable future.
It's a good one, though.
We finally give equal time to AEW after an excellent Dynasty PPV and a shocking title change three days later on Dynamite. We're happy but also torn.
Then, after singing the praises of All Emotional Wrestling, we head across the street where the heart has, seemingly, been ripped out of the book entirely. Yes, WrestleMania is here and, with a few exceptions, we can't wait to get it over with and wipe the slate clean.
No time to edit this one so it's our most live-ish episode yet. We really like how it turned out and we hope you do too!
(And if you don't, you'll be cursed and make the list!)

9. Phil's Latest Homecoming on the Familiar Rhodes to WrestleMania-Hausen
After stepping away for a month to move into our new home, we're live again, pal! Changes abound in the real world, but the WWE universe hit us with a lot of familiar beats over the past month.
Randy is going for 15, Cody has his belt back, and Punk got another hero's welcome in Chicago. We know; we we're there, and this week, we're sharing our thoughts on seeing the Chamber live, the rocky road to Mania, and the debut of The Next Big Thing, Daniel Hausen.

8. Royal Rumble Preview and We Play a New Game Called More Over
Jon and Cait are back to discuss the biggest developments in 2026 thus far, most notably the exciting top title changes and the baffling second season of WWE Unreal.
They also share their most anticipated Royal Rumble returns, then attempt to quantify exactly how "over" WWE's top (or, at least, most pushed) talent actually are.
This episode is considered a season debut, but they're in mid-season form. One of the best, most insightful editions to date.
