To Whom It May Concern… - “That’s the Sound of the Man Missing on the Train-Gang”
Written by Brandon L. Joyner
Dear readers, when a woman insists she witnessed a man collapse aboard a train, you might expect the authorities to investigate. Instead, they insist nothing happened. Naturally, this is precisely the sort of nonsense that brings Adriana Agony to the scene!
When Margaret Hale summons the sharp-witted agony aunt to help her sister Evelyn, Adriana finds herself confronting a railway determined to deny the impossible. No body, no missing passenger, no emergency recorded. So, what exactly did Evelyn witness?
With the ever-questionable Inspector Cunningham in tow, Adriana questions the stationmaster, challenges the railway physician, and attempts to reconstruct the mysterious incident. But when her first theory spectacularly fails, even the most determined detective might consider surrendering to a nice cup of tea.
Fortunately, Adriana's loyal but bewilderingly unconventional assistant, Reginald, may hold the key to a mystery hiding in plain sight. Can Adriana uncover the truth before the railway's secrets disappear for good?
