Double Take: Down the Rabbit Hole - BFI Young Programmers 2026
Double Take Festival runs from 14 - 18 August 2026.
Enjoy five days of double bills curated by talented 16–19-year-olds from our BFI Film Academy Specialist Residential: Programming.
This mini-series takes you through the programme day-by-day. We wrap up with Donkey Skin and The Fall on Tue 18 August at Showroom.
Double Take closes on an exploration of fantastical, surrealist, and childlike tales told through film. Both fantasy epics walk a fine line between dream and reality. Was it all real? Was any of it real? Regardless, the wonderful visuals inhabiting every frame of this double bill is enchanting.
