This final session from our 2026 Summer Camp brings together closing reflections from Ron Hendrix, Gordon Shinkle, and David Shinkle as they look back on the past several days and encourage participants to carry what God has begun into everyday life.
Ron reflects on the camp's themes of stepping out in faith, hearing the Shepherd's voice, and building a life rooted in prayer, expressing his hope for a fresh movement of God fueled by faithful intercession. Gordon encourages listeners to continue depending on the power of the Holy Spirit, celebrates what God has done throughout the camp, and shares his hope for the next generation of believers who will carry the gospel forward. David concludes by challenging listeners to let the Holy Spirit reorder their priorities, treasure the friendships God provides, persevere in prayer and fasting, and leave camp ready to live out what they have received.
These closing thoughts offer a heartfelt commissioning—an invitation to leave camp with renewed faith, deeper dependence on the Holy Spirit, and confidence that God will continue His work long after the week has ended.

Gordon Shinkle: The Shepherd Who Satisfies (3 Jul 2026 PM)
As Shrine Mont CFO comes to a close, Gordon Shinkle turns to Psalm 23 to reflect on the source of lasting satisfaction. While the world continually searches for fulfillment in all the wrong places, David's declaration—"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want"—points to the only Shepherd who truly satisfies every need.
Walking through Psalm 23, Gordon highlights how God restores His people through times of rest, worship, prayer, and deep fellowship before leading them back into lives of faithful service. He also explores the remarkable connection between Psalms 22, 23, and 24, showing how Christ's victory at Calvary and His promised return frame the believer's journey through "the valley of the shadow of death."
Closing the week with encouragement and hope, Gordon reminds us that because Jesus has conquered death, we can return home without fear—restored, strengthened, and ready to stand for righteousness, share the gospel, and trust the Good Shepherd wherever He leads.

Ron Hendrix: Be Strong and Courageous (3 Jul 2026 AM)
Ron Hendrix continues his teaching on hearing God's voice by reflecting on the ways the Lord has faithfully guided him through both difficult seasons and unexpected opportunities. Looking back over decades of ministry, he shares personal stories of learning to trust God's leading even when circumstances were discouraging, answers seemed delayed, or the path forward was unclear.
Drawing from Joshua 1 and a lifetime of experience, Ron encourages believers to stay rooted in Scripture, seek wise counsel, pay attention to God's leading, and remain faithful when obedience is costly. He also describes how God confirmed His calling over many years and challenged him to invest in the next generation, reminding listeners that every follower of Christ has a unique role in God's kingdom.
