Join us as we navigate the positive and negative aspects of having a close sibling bond while learning to juggle different ranks and busy lives. We will venture throughout the county and talk with other combinations of relatives in the fire service and how it affects their relationships.
We will focus on fire and family twice a month with a collection of special guests as we progress and dive deeper into this adventure.

Deputy and Cap. The Ones That Stick
This episode, Deputy and Cap take the time to reflect on medical calls that they had early in their careers, that really stuck with them. Deputy had a fairly personal connection to his, while Cap's was essentially a stranger but both still think about those patients on a regular basis.
We also touch on the wildfires that are currently ravaging the province and exhausting our fellow brother and sister firefighters. Anyone who has experience with forest fires of this size, we would love to hear from you.

PFAS And The Return of Chief
We sit down with Chief once again for a talk about PFAS and how he successfully switched all of his members to "Clean" Turnout Gear. We touch on some of the health effects and the road blocks he faced the last couple years.
Perfluoroalkyl or Polyfluoroalkyl substances, a group of chemicals that have properties that allow them to repel water, dirt, and oil and is known as a forever chemical. We encourage all listeners to do their own research on PFAS as there is more information and videos than we could ever cover in an episode.
