On this episode of Sidewalk Talks, we celebrate 25 years of Saginaw Spirit hockey with the President & Managing Partner, Craig Goslin! He reflects on the first day to the future: the early “build the plane while flying it” days, the volunteer and billet-family backbone of the organization, and the Spirit’s community-driven identity (including the origin of the name). We revisit the euphoric Memorial Cup win and its lasting impact on reputation, culture, and player recruitment, plus player-development programs like Respect for Women and mental health training, before looking ahead to a talented but young current roster and hopes for the next 25 years.

Halloween Party!
On October 31st at 7 PM, Ben Champagne is throwing a Halloween party at one of the coolest venues in the city (115 N. Hamilton)! It's probably been 20 years since this building has had music here, and Ben is brining it back with performances by Pesky Kid, Elephant Den, and DJ Dirty Mike. Bring a costume and a donation to enter!
