Yeah, idols are seen as a role model to the public. And their personal lives and images are very tightly controlled by the talent agencies that sign them. Right. They will impose all sorts of rules. For example, idols might not be allowed to smoke or drink in public. That would look bad. They're not supposed to be seen going to the bathroom, which is kind of hilarious.
