About Simplify Your Home: Declutter, Organize, Decorate, Interior Design, Routines
Your home should be your retreat, not a never-ending to do list.
Simplify Your Home is the go-to podcast for busy women who are over being frustrated in their homes and are ready to take action to create homes they love. If you're looking for simple, realistic decluttering, organizing, and decorating solutions that work even when you’re exhausted or short on time, you're in the right place.
Hey there! I’m Nicole, a professional home organizer and interior decorator. I’ve lived in over 15 homes through every season of life- from single, to married, to a single mom, and now happily remarried with kids and a goofy pit bull. I know firsthand what it feels like to be surrounded by piles, unfinished projects, and rooms that just don’t work. The good news? With the right decluttering and decorating plan, you absolutely can create a home you love without starting over from scratch. Ready?
Each week you’ll learn how to:
🏡 Declutter your space without the guilt, overwhelm, or the never-ending cycle of starting over
🏡 Organize your home with flexible, personalized systems that actually stick… even when life gets crazy
🏡 Decorate and style spaces you genuinely love without blowing your budget or following trends that don’t feel like you
🏡 Understand interior design principles and styles that finally make your home feel cohesive and intentional
🏡 Create simple routines to maintain your home that don’t require a toddler’s energy level
So let’s kick overwhelm and frustration to the curb together… Even if you don’t know where to start. Even if you’ve tried everything before. And even if your home currently looks like a tornado just blew through.
Hit follow, and let’s start turning your home into the retreat it was always meant to be. New episodes drop every Tuesday.

Struggling to Declutter? 3 New 15-Minute Strategies to Clear the Clutter for a Calm Home
Have you ever opened the door to a cluttered room, felt your stomach drop, and quickly closed it again? You promise yourself you’ll deal with it this weekend. Then the weekend comes and goes, and the door stays shut.
If you want to make progress without giving up every Saturday this month, this episode is for you. All you need is fifteen minutes, your notes app, and one room that’s been driving you nuts.
In This Episode:
Every vacation reminds me of how little I actually need. So let’s use those lessons to make decluttering easier.
Write your own travel notes. Before you touch a single item, write a quick paragraph or some bullet points about what you want a room to feel like and how you want to use it. Then let that note make the hard decisions for you.
The carry-on strategy. Most decluttering advice asks you to decide what to get rid of. This flips the question, and it’s really helpful if you freeze up when it’s time to let things go.
Pick your favorite souvenirs. Mugs, tote bags, candles, throw blankets. Use this simple rule on the categories that seem to multiply in your home and skip the guilt.
The vacation rental test. After a while we all become a little blind to our clutter. Here’s a quick way to see your room the way a guest would and also to notice what you would change if you saw it in an Airbnb listing.
