S8:E24: Young Guns and Late Runs: USMNT, NWSL, and LA Galaxy
Christian and Michelle talk soccer from the US national team through Southern California. We break down the USMNT's post-World Cup friendly against Peru and what Pochettino's young, MLS Next-Pro heavy roster could tell us about the next generation of the national team. Then it's over to the NWSL overlooking the standings as the season winds down. Finally, LA Galaxy have somehow put together back-to-back wins for the first time this season after a comeback against Colorado Rapids. The results are finally coming, but momentum can't be wasted. The payoff pressure is on and we'll see what comes next across American Soccer.

S8:E23: Setting Standards?
This week, Michelle and Christian get a little cathartic about the LA Galaxy experience. After another opportunity to gain ground in the Western Conference slipped away against Seattle, we talk about why simply staying alive in the playoff race isn’t enough for a club with this history. We love the Galaxy, we show up for countless reasons, and the community surrounding this club means something—but ultimately, what happens on the pitch matters. Lately, parts of the Galaxy experience have started to feel cheapened when the results don’t match the history, investment, or expectations attached to the crest. We question whether this squad has enough hunger, whether the players can deliver what’s needed, and why the Galaxy keep failing to capitalize when the teams around them leave the door open. With Minnesota next and time running short, we’re asking for more than nostalgia and past trophies: the standards created by this club’s history have to be lived up to by the team wearing the crest today.

S8:E22: Freaky Friday
Plot twist: did Michelle and Christian just switch bodies?!
This week felt like a soccer version of Freaky Friday as we somehow found ourselves switching our usual stances. One of us is suddenly seeing reasons for optimism, while the other is asking, “Okay…but this is unacceptable."
We break down the latest from the NWSL, including Angel City’s fight to stay in the conversation, before turning to the LA Galaxy, where consistency, discipline, and the direction of the season are still giving us plenty to debate.
Same teams. Same co-hosts. Completely different energy. Apparently all it took was one weekend of soccer for us to swap personalities.
Tune in for NWSL talk, Galaxy analysis, disagreements, unexpected agreements, and the moment we realized: Wait…when did YOU become me?!
