So you need either diaries or letters or any other form of direct speech that was written down at the time in order to create a realistic idea and world that comes close to what actually happened so i was looking for sources like that but it's quite a long list of criteria when you think about it you need that kind of source material you need someone who lived actually in weimar throughout that whole time from 1919 to 39 and you want somebody who hasn't kind of manipulated their own records so if if you have people who feel that they're quite important like generals or i don't know politicians They quite often have an interest afterwards in forging their documents or in letting stuff disappear.
