Gym Clothes
During his Saturday Night Live monologue, Shane Gillismocked women for the clothes they wear to the gym. His remarks may be easy to dismiss as the words of one comedian, but the attitude behind them deservescloser attention.
Why are women’s clothing choices treated as an invitationfor public judgment? Gym wear is designed for movement, comfort, and performance, yet women are often criticised for wearing it, too tight, too revealing, or supposedly intended to attract attention. This scrutiny shifts responsibility away from the person making the comment and onto the womansimply going about her day.
The issue is larger than one joke. Women are frequentlyexpected to manage other people’s reactions by dressing in ways that appear modest, flattering, professional, but never attention-seeking. These contradictory standards leave little room for comfort or personal choice. What a woman wears does not determine her character, competence, or right to betreated with respect.

Bucket Lists
Bucket lists can emerge in different ways. For some people, they feel intuitive—a natural collection of experiences, goals, and milestones they hope to pursue. For others, the idea develops later in life as priorities shift and new ambitions take shape. Some people may not have a bucket list at all, preferring to approach life without a defined set of goals. In this cast, we discuss our personal bucket-list items, explore what inspired them, and reflect on what they mean to us.

Lindsay Clancey
Everyone is talking about Lindsay Clancey. Now that the trial has finished, the jury appears unable to reach a clear decision, keeping public attention firmly focused on the case. What began as a tragic and highly publicised legal matter has become a wider conversation about justice, mental health, parenting, and the limits of public judgment.
So why has this case attracted so much attention? Part of the public fascination comes from the emotional weight of the allegations, but it is also driven by uncertainty around intent, responsibility, and how the legal system should respond when mental health is presented as a central issue. The case raises difficult questions that many people are still trying to understand, which helps explain why discussion around it has continued even after the trial concluded.
