Why We Need Intentional Community
The plans we make for time together don’t always unfold the way we expect. In this episode, we reminisce about past sister weekends and the weekend Jeannette and Christine had planned for this year, which will now be postponed until next year.
Our own sister weekend came sooner than this episode could be released. After our eldest sister experienced a stroke, we spent the first weekend in October at Craig Hospital together. It was a different kind of gathering, shaped by concern, love, and the need to be present for one another.
We still have so many good stories and reflections from our time together to share. In this conversation, we also honor tender moments with our sisters Christine and Maria and reflect on why showing up for one another matters.
Intentional community grows through planned gatherings and the everyday connections in between: the calls, messages, check-ins, and small moments that help us stay part of one another’s lives. Community is built over time, through shared memories, honest conversations, and the choice to stay close through life’s unexpected turns.

God Moments: Looking Back to See His Faithfulness
Have you ever looked back on a moment from your life and realized, God was there all along?
In this episode of Sisters on Purpose, we’re reflecting on the quiet ways God has been faithful throughout our lives. Some of His greatest work doesn’t happen in the moments that seem extraordinary. It happens in the ordinary days, the unexpected challenges, the unanswered questions, and even the seasons we would never choose for ourselves.
As we revisit childhood memories, pivotal life experiences, and seasons of both joy and hardship, we’re reminded that hindsight often reveals what faith couldn’t fully see in the moment. Those “aha” moments become powerful reminders that God was guiding, protecting, preparing, and providing long before we recognized His hand.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
We invite you to pause and reflect on your own story. Where have you seen God’s fingerprints? What once felt like coincidence may now look like providence. What once seemed like a detour may have been part of His perfect plan all along.
May this conversation encourage you to trust that the same faithful God who carried you through your past is walking with you today and will remain faithful in every season still to come.

To Much Information: Not Enough Peace
We live in a world where information never stops. Headlines, opinions, notifications, social media, and constant updates compete for our attention every day. Yet the more we consume, the less peace many of us seem to have.
In this episode, we’re talking about the difference between being informed and becoming overwhelmed. We’ll explore why protecting your heart and mind is not avoidance, but wisdom. Together, we’ll discuss how to quiet the noise, refocus on what truly matters, and create space to hear God’s voice above the world’s endless distractions.
Scripture: “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” Isaiah 26:3
If you’ve been feeling mentally exhausted, emotionally stretched, or simply longing for a little more calm in your life, this conversation is for you. Let’s discover how less noise can lead to more peace, more clarity, and a deeper trust in God’s presence.
