44, DIVORCED & CHILD-FREE: Why Are People So Mad She's Happy?
She's 44. Divorced. Child-free. Fine as hell. And she has ZERO regrets about not becoming a mother. Apparently, that's enough to send the internet into a frenzy. 👀
But why is society so uncomfortable with a Black woman who doesn't want marriage and motherhood to define her happiness?
This week on SISTERVENTION, I'm sitting down with a woman whose unapologetic TikToks about living child-free have sparked controversy and some VERY strong opinions.
As a woman who genuinely wants marriage and children, I had questions. And trust me, we went there!
We're talking about:
Why she decided motherhood wasn't for her.
Being divorced and choosing freedom.
The pressure Black women face to become wives, mothers, and caretakers.
Why turning 40 isn't the expiration date society makes it out to be.
The eldest daughter syndrome and learning to put yourself FIRST.
Whether women can truly live fulfilled lives without children.
And of course, we're getting into the unsolicited opinions people LOVE to give women about their biological clocks, relationships, and reproductive choices.
Today's Sistervention: STOP LIVING A LIFE YOU DIDN'T CHOOSE.
Whether you want five kids or none, this conversation is about giving women permission to define happiness for themselves.
Your life is NOT a waiting room, sis!
💬 Let's get controversial in the comments: Do you think society still measures a woman's success by whether she becomes a wife and mother?
Subscribe to SISTERVENTION for more unfiltered conversations about womanhood, relationships, lifestyle, and becoming the woman YOU want to be.

You Want a Village… But Are You a Villager?
Everybody wants a village—but are you actually being a villager?
We all want friendships where people show up for us, celebrate our wins, support us through hard seasons, remember the important moments, and make us feel loved. But this week on Sistervention, we're turning the mirror around and asking a harder question: Are you the kind of friend you're asking other people to be?
We're talking about what it really takes to build meaningful adult friendships, why friendship sometimes requires inconvenience, the difference between reciprocity and keeping score, and why you have to make deposits into relationships before expecting withdrawals.
We're also getting into friendship as we get older—when careers, relationships, children, businesses, and life start changing everyone's capacity—and how to recognize the difference between a friendship that's evolving and one that's simply become one-sided.
Because having a village isn't just about finding the right people. It's about becoming the kind of person who helps create one.
This week's Sistervention: Before you ask where your village is, ask yourself—would you want you in yours?

The Great Lock-In: Girl, It’s Time to Get Serious
Girl, enough. It’s time to lock in.
The internet is calling it the Great Lock-In or the Winter Arc, but this Sistervention isn’t about disappearing, becoming miserable, or trying to reinvent your entire life overnight. It’s about getting honest about the gap between the life you say you want and the habits you’re actually living.
This week, we’re talking discipline, money, health, career, procrastination, dating, boundaries, and why sometimes the biggest thing standing between you and your next chapter is consistency.
We’re also getting into why you don’t have to give up your social life to get serious about your goals, why we’re absolutely not making a man our winter project, and how to choose five areas of your life to intentionally work on through the end of the year.
Because at some point, we have to stop being impressed by our own potential and start producing some results.
January shouldn’t be when you start. January should be when everybody notices.
Welcome to your Great Lock-In. 🔒
