#22 - Can You Make Me Feel Good?

In just five years, Have Heart defined a subgenre, became a legendary live act and left records behind that decades later continue to inspire thousands of people across the world. Their blend of thoughtfulness and aggression is something many punk bands aspire to but few if any have reached. Can Héctor find a way to be a joyless hater of them? Tune in to this discussion of their 2008 album "Songs to Scream at the Sun" to find out!

#21 - Can't You Help Me Be Uncrazy?

At the turn of the century, Metallica's James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, and Lars "Fuuuuuuuuuck" Ulrich stood at a crossroads as the biggest band of the world. Creatively unfulfilled and mired in personal troubles, they made a maladroit and strange release: 2003's St. Anger. Not only that, they recorded the process and released it as a cult documentary. The result: they, this album and its snare became a punchline. Was it really that bad though? Here, we consider this complex, but crucial question.

   #20 - A Hell of Anxiety

Disrupt. Distress. Disgust. Disclose. Disarm. Disfear. Dispyt. Endless bands have been inspired by the sound of Discharge. Their early 1980s run stands on its own as some of the greatest and most influential punk music ever made. But we are not talking about those records, we are talking about their widely reviled 1986 album Grave New World. We cover their legendary bomb of tour and try to figure out what led them to do this album. Will either of us take a contrarian stance and champion this record as a secret masterpiece? Tune in and find out.
