Dream Warriors | feat. The Notorious B.I.G., Metallica, The Living End + more

Episode 077: Close your eyes, drift into REM sleep, and try not to panic because it’s time to lucid-dream with Six Picks Music Club! Join Geoff, Russ, and Dave as they tumble straight down the subconscious rabbit hole for an episode all about dreams. The boys are turning off their conscious filters to unearth six tracks exploring the twilight zone of the mind. We’re kicking off the sleep cycle by manifesting success with The Notorious B.I.G., bracing for an apocalyptic fever dream with The Living End, and summoning up nocturnal hallucinations with The Chordettes. From there, we're floating through a hallucinogenic, wine-soaked trance with Eric Burdon & War, gripping tight to reality with Fort Collins punk mainstays Elway, and finally sliding into terrifying, sleep-paralysis night terrors with Metallica. Are these tracks the ultimate lucid dream, or are the boys sleepwalking straight into a nightmare? Close your eyes and find out! Apple Podcasts Instagram Spotify Playlist Official Site

Make It Weird | feat. Frank Zappa, They Might Be Giants, Melt-Banana + more

Episode 076: Get ready to warp reality and scratch your brain because it’s time to throw out the rulebook! Join Geoff, Russ, and Dave as they make it weird for Six Picks Music Club, where the boys are diving headfirst down the rabbit hole to unearth six tracks that defy logic, genre, and good taste. We’re kicking off the trip by melting our minds with Animal Collective, sliding into the wild garage-rock freakout of The Fendermen, and poking fun at mortality with They Might Be Giants. From there, we're taking a bizarre detour through Frank Zappa’s eccentric landscape, sprinting through the high-voltage noise-core chaos of Melt-Banana, and plunging into the carnival-esque depravity of Mr. Bungle. Are these picks certified avant-garde masterpieces, or are the boys just losing their minds? Adjust your rabbit ears and find out! Apple Podcasts Instagram Spotify Playlist Official Site
