Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Morgellons, Skin Parasites, Diet Protocols, and the Skin Wars Think Tank Richard Kuhns and Robin O’Herron Welcome Listeners to Skin Wars In this episode of Skin Wars, also framed during the program as the Morgellons Think Tank, host Richard Kuhns and co-host Robin O’Herron welcome listeners who are struggling with itching, biting sensations, skin irritation, and what they describe as unknown tiny critters or parasites. The episode is presented as a support-focused “think tank” for people seeking practical tools, community, and hope. The program begins with required disclaimers read by coach Sharon, explaining that listeners should consult their medical doctors before beginning Richard’s diet or following recommendations, and that the program does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Disclaimers, Personal Experience, and the King Diet Sharon shares her personal experience, saying she was once diagnosed with delusional parasitosis by doctors but later found help through Richard’s program. She describes the group as a family that educates people about diet, disinfecting the home, deep-cleaning the skin through bathing or showering protocols, and using supplements that are compatible with the diet. She emphasizes that if one method does not work, listeners should not give up, but should continue examining diet, environment, bathing routines, skin cleaning, and supplements. Robin O’Herron on Symptoms and Possible Co-Factors Robin then discusses what she identifies as possible signs of Morgellons and related co-factors, including fibers or filaments, itching, biting sensations, lesions, burning skin, unusual material emerging from the skin, biofilm, mites, springtails or columbola, and fungal issues. She recommends a lint-roller test after bathing and using Nature’s Gift to check for small hairs or fibers on the skin. Robin explains that she believes biofilm and skin fungus can play a role in helping organisms survive and says that improvement may come through diet, skin cleaning, and careful attention to co-factors. Richard Kuhns on Facebook, Conflicting Advice, and the Need for Hope Richard criticizes the despair he sees in online Morgellons and skin-parasite groups, where people often post frightening images, conflicting theories, or single-supplement “solutions.” He argues that documentaries and social media groups can leave people feeling hopeless, while his program aims to offer a structured path forward. He discusses theories involving Lyme disease, spirochetes, Candida, worms, fungal organisms, nanobots, cloud seeding, and chemtrails, but emphasizes that his priority is not proving the origin of Morgellons. Instead, he focuses on what he says helps people reduce symptoms and regain quality of life. Diet, Co-Factors, and Individual Investigation The central teaching is Richard’s view that diet is the most important tool for managing symptoms. He explains that the diet has different stages, with stage one being the strictest, and that people may need to investigate details such as grains, carbohydrates, rice, millet, spelt, supplements, medications, capsules, fillers, and even how foods are heated. Richard repeatedly says the diet must be personalized because what works for one person may not work for another. He also cautions that people should review ingredients carefully, including salts, walnuts, bacon, deli meats, preservatives, and hidden additives. Listener Q&A: Medication, Fungus, Bites, and Skin Care During the Q&A, listeners ask about sleep medication, toenail fungus, bites on the back, biofilm, mites, columbola, and skin reactions. Richard and Robin suggest possible approaches such as checking medication fillers, discussing alternatives with a doctor, soaking feet with vinegar and Nature’s Gift, considering hydrogen peroxide for toenail fungus based on one listener’s report

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Morgellons, Skin Parasite Symptoms, Community Support, and the Search for Relief Welcoming Listeners to the Morgellons Think Tank In this episode of Skin Wars, also referred to during the program as the Morgellons Think Tank, Sharon fills in for co-host Robin and introduces host Richard Kuhns. Sharon describes Morgellons and skin-parasite symptoms as deeply isolating experiences that have disrupted many people’s lives. She shares her own history of severe facial symptoms and credits Richard’s guidance and his book, How to Get Your Life Back from Morgellons and Other Skin Parasites, with helping her improve. Richard begins by stating that he and the group are not licensed physicians and do not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent disease, advising listeners to discuss dietary or treatment decisions with medical doctors. Richard’s Explanation of Symptoms and Possible Cofactors Richard begins the educational portion by describing what he regards as the distinguishing symptom of Morgellons: filaments or fibers appearing from the skin or collecting in clothing and bedding. He says that itching, biting, burning, crawling sensations, lesions, unusual material emerging from the skin, and eye irritation may involve Morgellons or what he calls related cofactors, including mites, springtails, fungus, or other organisms. Throughout this discussion, Richard presents his own understanding of these conditions and argues that many affected people feel dismissed by medical professionals or family members. He emphasizes that the purpose of the call is to provide a community where listeners can discuss their experiences without being invalidated. The Diet, Products, and Questions About Daily Management Much of the program centers on Richard’s diet protocol, which he and several callers describe as essential to managing their symptoms. Richard says listeners must track foods, medications, supplements, toothpaste, and other substances carefully because individual reactions may vary. He and callers discuss spices, electromagnetic sensitivity, toothpaste ingredients, dietary stages, weight loss, collagen supplements, foods that appear to trigger symptoms, and products sold through his program. The discussion includes repeated references to a product called Nature’s Gift, an herbal formula referred to as Parasite Stop, dietary supplements, body sprays or wipes, and other approaches that participants say they have used in their own attempts to manage symptoms. Callers Describe Eye Problems, Severe Symptoms, and Emotional Distress Several callers share personal difficulties. One caller describes serious eye problems, sand-like material around her eyes, and frustration after visiting multiple doctors. Richard and other participants discuss their experiences using colloidal silver and eye-wash methods, presenting these as approaches used within the group. Another caller, Tracy, describes years of intense symptoms beginning after moving into a house she believed was infested, losing nearly all of her possessions, becoming unable to participate normally in daily life, and once reaching a point of severe despair. She says discovering Richard’s work gave her hope, even though she continues to struggle. Richard responds with encouragement, while another participant offers to be a supportive phone contact. Shared Experiences with Food, Clothing, and Symptom Relief As the think-tank portion continues, callers contribute what they believe has helped them cope. Participants discuss avoiding certain foods, experimenting cautiously with different stages of the diet, increasing protein or using rice bran oil to regain weight, and wearing copper- or silver-infused clothing when going out in public. One caller says she regained weight while avoiding grains by relying on meats, vegetables, and homemade dressings. Others discuss eye-care products, di

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Skin Parasite Q&A: Diet Protocols, Environmental Cleaning, and Stress Support Introducing the Skin Parasite Wars Community In this episode of Morgellons Skin Parasite Wars, host Robin opens the weekly think tank call by welcoming listeners who are dealing with Morgellons, springtails, Lyme disease, mites, itching, bites, lesions, and related skin-parasite concerns. She frames the show as a caring support community built around protocols based on Richard Kuhns’ book, How to Get Your Life Back from Morgellons, Lyme and Other Skin Parasites. Richard begins by giving regulatory disclaimers, emphasizing that participants should consult their medical doctors before starting his diet or recommendations, and clarifying that the group is offering education rather than medical diagnosis or treatment. Richard Kuhns’ Background and the Role of Diet Richard explains how his own experience began after pulling a vine from a tree and developing intense itching that did not resolve through early medical attempts. He describes spending years trying to identify what organisms might be involved, including mites, springtails, Strongyloides, fungal issues, and Morgellons-like symptoms. A major part of his account is the discovery that food seemed connected to itching, biting, lesions, and symptom flare-ups. He describes developing what he calls the “Kuhns diet,” saying it took about two years to refine and that different organisms or symptom patterns may require slightly different diet adjustments. Identifying Possible Organisms and Symptoms The episode includes a detailed explanation of how Richard uses a questionnaire to educate callers about which organisms they may be dealing with, while emphasizing that this is not a formal diagnosis. He discusses Morgellons in terms of abnormal filaments or fibers from the skin, springtails or Collembola in relation to itching and biting that may begin around the ankles or lower legs, skin fungus in connection with burning and redness, and Strongyloides as a parasite that can be checked through a blood test. He also mentions complications such as Lyme disease, rashes, coughing, digestive issues, biofilm, and other co-infections that callers may be trying to understand. Environmental Cleaning and Product Questions Much of the call is devoted to practical questions from listeners about cleaning, spraying, and household management. Robin discusses using Garden Safe Fungicide 3 or similar products containing neem oil and labeled as fungicide, miticide, and insecticide, especially for springtail-related concerns. She describes using it in spray bottles, on furniture, rooms, floors, clothing, and sometimes in combination with enzyme cleaner, while also explaining how she rinses an electrostatic sprayer with hot soapy water and clear hot water afterward to prevent clogs. Callers also ask about ammonia dilution, diatomaceous earth, cedar oil alternatives, Bayer insecticide, ozone, DEET, and treating clothing during tick season. Callers Discuss Progress, Hair, Diet, and Supplements Several callers share progress updates and ask about specific challenges. One caller reports removing carpet and installing solid flooring to make cleaning easier, while another discusses possible sensitivity to capsules, rice, toothpaste, medications, and other small details that may affect how the diet works for them. A caller from Arizona describes suspected mites, Collembola, possible scabies, bird exposure, hair infestation concerns, and the difficulty of cutting long hair to make scalp treatment more effective. The group also discusses products such as Nature’s Gift, Claudia’s Dream Cream, herbal parasite products, amino acids, enzymes for biofilm, and ordering supplements from related websites. Stress Management and Deep Breathing The episode closes with a stress-management exercise focused on deep breathing and af

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Recovery, Identification and Diagnosis of Morgellons and Internal Management This podcast session, hosted by Richard Kuhns and Robin, explores holistic and environmental protocols for individuals struggling with Morgellons disease and skin parasite infestations. The discussion emphasizes the critical role of a specific "Stage 1" diet, the identification of environmental vectors like Collembola, and practical household disinfection techniques. The experts provide a "think-tank" environment to address complex cases, including those with medical complications like feeding tubes. Identification and Diagnosis of Morgellons Morgellons is often misunderstood by the medical community, frequently misdiagnosed as "psychotic parasitosis." A primary symptom is the presence of fibers that the organisms use to create "houses" within the skin. A reliable home-diagnostic method involves taking a debriding bath (using apple cider vinegar, Epsom salts, and specialized soaps), allowing the skin to dry, and then using a lint roller. If Morgellons is present, tiny hair-like threads will typically appear on the roller. These organisms are often carried by vectors such as fleas, ticks, mites, and bed bugs. The Dietary Protocol and Internal Management The "Stage 1" diet is the cornerstone of recovery, designed to quiet parasite activity by removing specific triggers. Success requires extreme strictness; for example, hidden sugars in health-store Stevia can prevent the diet from working. Richard Kuhns highlights that certain medications like Orap (Pimozide), Abilify, and Wellbutrin—often classified as antipsychotics—actually work by reducing dopamine uptake in the brain, which helps manage symptoms. A natural alternative, the "Herbal Parasite Stop Formula," has been developed to achieve similar neurological effects without pharmaceutical side effects. Environmental Vectors: Collembola and Water Systems Collembola (springtails) are significant environmental cofactors that often infest homes alongside Morgellons. They are moisture-seeking organisms roughly 300 microns in size (the size of a dust particle) and can jump using a spring-like tail. Listeners reported potential infestations in whole-house water filtration systems, specifically in brine tanks and carbon filters. While black specks in water might be carbon breakdown, Collembola can survive in saltwater and may require fine-micron filtration (below 300 microns) to be removed from the water supply. Advanced Cleaning and Household Maintenance Maintaining a parasite-free environment involves rigorous laundry and surface protocols. Ammonia is a primary disinfectant for laundry and ductwork, though it can cause fabric shredding over time. Alternatives include Borax, Cedarcide PCO, and specialized laundry additives. For furniture, the use of an electrostatic sprayer is recommended to reach deep into tufts and crevices where organisms hide. When traveling, using a blacklight to inspect hotel beds and keeping luggage in Ziploc bags with menthol crystals can prevent re-infestation. Managing Morgellons and associated skin parasites requires a dual-track approach: internal biological control through a strict Stage 1 diet and external environmental eradication through targeted cleaning. While the journey is challenging and often ignored by mainstream medicine, the "Skin Wars" community emphasizes that recovery is possible through persistence, proper identification of cofactors, and a supportive network

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Strategic insights into Morgellons, Vibrational Nutrition This episode of the Skin Wars podcast hosted by Richard Kuhns focuses on educational strategies for managing Morgellons, Collembola, and other skin parasites by emphasizing the critical link between diet, environmental cleaning, and targeted supplementation. The core message is that while medical professionals often dismiss these conditions as delusional, a rigorous adherence to a specific dietary "trunk" can lead to significant symptomatic relief and recovery. The Dietary Foundation: The "Trunk of the Tree" The central philosophy of the program is that what an individual eats directly dictates the severity of symptoms like itching, biting, and non-healing lesions. Richard Kunes describes the diet as the "trunk of the tree," meaning no other treatments (the "limbs") will succeed without it. The diet operates on a theory of harmonic vibrations; since every living thing vibrates, certain foods provide a complementary vibration that "feeds" the parasites, while others "starve" them. For many, symptoms like itching and biting can stop almost overnight once the correct dietary restrictions are implemented. The protocol is highly precise, distinguishing between stages and specific cofactors. For example, while sugar might be permissible in later stages for Collembola, it is strictly forbidden for Morgellons. Common stage-one restrictions include the elimination of carrots, peas, asparagus, olive oil, and most fruits except for lime and lemon. Identification, Medical Skepticism, and "The Perfect Storm" Morgellons is primarily identified by filaments and fibers—sometimes iridescent or fluorescent—growing from the skin. Despite these physical manifestations, patients are frequently diagnosed by doctors with "Delusional Parasitosis," a situation Kunes warns can lead to involuntary psychiatric commitment. He attributes the modern prevalence of these conditions to a "perfect storm" of GMOs, 5G technology, and environmental factors like cloud seeding. The community emphasizes that the origin of the parasite (whether from "the moon" or a mite) is less important than the demonstrated protocol for removal. However, identifying cofactors like mites or fungus is helpful for tailoring environmental cleaning. Targeted Supplementation and Detox Management Supplements are used to build immune response and fill nutritional gaps, but they must be compatible with the diet. A major focus is placed on Glutathione (specifically Max-1), which uses a patented formula of L-cysteine and D-ribose to enter cells directly and protect DNA. Other key supplements include Garcilin (a stabilized allicin from garlic) acting as a natural antibiotic, and Lufenuron, which inhibits chitin production in mites and fungi. Kunes warns that these potent supplements can trigger "detox reactions" or Herxheimer reactions, such as localized inflammation or headaches. To mitigate these, he recommends hydration, rebounding, and using binders like zeolite or a combination of digestive enzymes and amino acids. Environmental Remediation and Troubleshooting Cleaning the environment is as critical as the diet. Kunes strongly advocates for electrostatic sprayers over traditional foggers, as the former creates a charged mist that wraps around surfaces and enters crevices where parasites hide. For those with sensitivities to harsh chemicals like ammonia, alternatives like "Fungicide 3" (neem oil-based) are suggested. The discussion also touches on specific troubleshooting: some individuals, such as "Mary Rhotes," discovered that even the cellulose in supplement capsules (veggie caps) or cold rice could trigger reactions, highlighting the need for a personal diary to identify unique sensitivities. For severe scalp infestations, the community consensus is that shorter hair is more manageable, with some members choosing to shave their heads

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Strategic insights into Morgellons and Identifying Cofactors This episode of the BBS Parasite Skin Wars podcast features author Richard Kuhn and co-host Robin discussing comprehensive strategies for recovering from Morgellons and other skin parasites. The conversation highlights the essential role of a specialized diet, the impact of cofactors such as autoimmune diseases and fungal infections, and practical advice for environmental decontamination and supplementation. The Foundation: Diet and Research-Based Recovery The core of the recovery program is based on Richard Kuhn’s research and his book, How to Get Your Life Back from Morgellons and Other Skin Parasites. The hosts emphasize that unlike other resources which may focus on a single "cure," this approach treats Morgellons as a complex condition influenced by individual physiology. A specific eating plan is identified as the most critical element, designed to effectively "put parasites to sleep" within the body. Richard asserts that without adhering to this diet, other treatments are unlikely to succeed, as it addresses the fundamental environment the parasites inhabit. Identifying Cofactors and the Role of Autoimmunity A significant portion of the discussion focuses on "cofactors"—secondary conditions like Lyme disease, fungal overgrowth, and autoimmune disorders (e.g., Lupus, Hashimoto's) that use up the body's resources and hinder recovery. Richard and Robin debate whether autoimmune issues are a cause or a consequence of parasitic infection, with Robin sharing her personal history of chronic Lyme and subsequent autoimmune failures. Richard is currently conducting a survey to gather data on how these conditions correlate with Morgellons, suggesting that factors like pheromones or blood types might also influence why certain individuals are more susceptible to being "bitten" or infested. Supplementation and Environmental Decontamination The podcast provides specific advice on products and cleaning. For internal support, Richard recommends Garcillin (a natural antibiotic) and various enzymes to restore the gut biome, specifically warning against any supplements containing glycerin, which can feed the organisms. For environmental control, the use of ammonia is highlighted for cleaning floors and air conditioning filters to combat fungal spores and mites. The hosts also discuss the utility of DNA testing through services like VetDNA to identify specific organisms, though they note that clinical scrapings can also provide necessary evidence to quiet skeptical medical professionals or family members. The podcast underscores that while Morgellons is a "complicated disease," recovery is achievable through a disciplined adherence to the recommended diet and a systematic approach to addressing cofactors. By combining internal biological support with rigorous environmental cleaning, patients can effectively "get their lives back."

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Comprehensive Strategies for Invisible Skin Parasites and Lyme Disease On this episode of Skin Wars featuring Richard Kunes, focuses on holistic recovery protocols for skin parasites. The discussion outlines a rigorous multi-pronged approach involving dietary discipline, environmental cleaning, and skin debriding. Defining Morgellons and its Co-factors Morgellons is primarily identified by the presence of filaments or fibers emerging from the skin, which may be microscopic, multi-colored, or fluorescent. Participants noted that these fibers sometimes exhibit movement, leading to the hypothesis that they serve as protective environments for microscopic parasites. While often associated with Lyme disease, the experts suggest that Lyme is frequently a co-factor rather than the primary cause, with other organisms like springtails (Collembola), mites, and fungal pathogens playing more significant roles in the "plethora" of symptoms experienced by patients. The "King Diet" as the Foundation The "King Diet" is described as the most critical element of the recovery program; without it, other interventions are unlikely to succeed. This diet is significantly more restrictive than standard Paleo or Mediterranean diets, excluding items like carrots, peas, asparagus, and even certain breath mints or salts containing sugar. The goal is to eliminate the internal biological support for the parasites, which can react aggressively to even minor dietary slips, such as the consumption of ice cream or non-compliant stevia. Skin Debriding and Environmental Hygiene External management involves "debriding" the skin using specialized soaps—such as Nature's Gift, charcoal, or silver soaps—to physically remove fibers and organisms. Simultaneously, the environment must be aggressively managed. This includes using ammonia or hypochlorous acid for disinfecting living spaces and vehicles, and employing specific laundry protocols to prevent re-infestation. Participants emphasized that because these organisms are molecular and highly contagious, even sitting in a chair can leave behind infectious material for the next person. Addressing Specific Sensitivities and Myths The call addressed sensitive issues, including infestations in private areas and the scalp. For sensitive skin, the experts recommend diluted Nature's Gift or specific gels rather than harsh vinegars. They also debunked the efficacy of standard cleaners like Windex, advocating for stronger, targeted disinfectants. A recurring theme was the lack of recognition from traditional medical practitioners, who often misdiagnose these conditions as "delusional parasitosis" due to a lack of training in molecular parasites. Recovery from Morgellons and skin parasites requires an uncompromising commitment to a "structured" lifestyle. Success is found in the synergy of the King Diet, aggressive environmental hygiene, and consistent skin debriding. As emphasized by the coaches, "nothing will work if you don't get the diet to work" and maintain a clean environment simultaneously.

   Skin Wars, April 11, 2026

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Reclaiming Vitality, Four Pillars of Recovery, Co-infections and Internal Health This episode of the Parasite Wars Podcast features expert Richard Kunes and co-host Robin discussing holistic recovery from Morgellons disease and skin parasites. The discussion centers on the "King Diet," environmental disinfection, and the critical importance of meticulous lifestyle changes to "get your life back" from chronic infestation. The Primacy of the King Diet Richard Kunes emphasizes that the "King Diet" is the absolute foundation of recovery. He asserts that while his research team provides high-quality products, these are largely ineffective—benefiting only about 20% of users—unless the diet is strictly followed. When the diet is executed correctly, the success rate for stopping the activity of organisms rises to 100%. The diet is more restrictive than standard keto or Mediterranean protocols, specifically forbidding carrots, peas, potatoes, and all vegetable oils. A major hurdle for many is "hidden" ingredients; for example, common table salts or organic stevia brands often contain sugars or fillers that can inadvertently fuel the parasites and stall progress. The Four Pillars of Recovery Recovery is structured around four essential pillars: making the diet work, disinfecting the environment, cleaning the skin, and supporting immune function. Environmental disinfection is particularly grueling, with Kunes’s protocol dedicating 60 pages to cleaning laundry, furniture, and vehicles to prevent reinfection. Participants are encouraged to simplify their surroundings—sometimes even discarding furniture—to make the cleaning process manageable. For skin care, the podcast highlights the use of Ichthamol cream to draw out slivers or organisms and specific bathing protocols to physically remove parasites from the body. Managing Co-infections and Internal Health The team discusses the prevalence of co-infections, noting that 90% of Morgellons sufferers also deal with Collembola (springtails). Traditional herbal dewormers like black walnut hull are discouraged because Collembola actually feed on such organic matter. Instead, the protocol suggests annual deworming using specific combinations of Fenbendazole and Ivermectin, or potentially castor oil packs as a less costly alternative. Regarding internal health, Kunes clarifies that while Morgellons is not directly related to diabetes, maintaining stable glucose levels via supplements like Berberine or Ceylon cinnamon can prevent the body from becoming a more hospitable environment for parasites. Lymphatic Support and Practical Tips For those feeling "clogged" or dealing with biofilm, the podcast recommends "rebounding" (using a mini-trampoline) to stimulate lymphatic drainage through gravitational force. Other practical advice includes using Ziploc plastic covers for memory foam mattresses and pillows to prevent infestations and using menthol crystals inside sealed bags to disinfect clothing without damaging the fabric. The session concludes with the introduction of a new coach, Robyn, who shares her personal success in managing the diet by sticking strictly to fresh meats, eggs, and specific green vegetables like zucchini and Brussels sprouts. Recovery from Morgellons and skin parasites is presented not as a quick fix, but as a disciplined lifestyle overhaul. By prioritizing the "King Diet" and maintaining a sterile environment, the speakers argue that patients can transition from "misery" back to a functional, healthy life.

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Personal Purpose and Purposeful Recovery of Morgellons This transcript features a deep-dive discussion led by Richard and Sharon regarding the recovery from Morgellons disease and other skin parasites. The conversation emphasizes the "King Diet" as the primary tool for healing, while also exploring the psychological and spiritual journey of finding purpose through chronic illness. The Core Protocol: The King Diet and Recovery The foundation of the recovery program is the "King Diet," a multi-stage nutritional protocol designed to stop the breeding cycle of parasites. Richard emphasizes that while many people focus on external treatments, the diet is the "first clutch" that must be engaged for other protocols to work. Stage 1 is described as extremely strict, often leading to immediate relief from the intense itching, biting, and crawling sensations associated with Morgellons. The most significant early indicator that the diet is working is the restoration of a full night's sleep, which many sufferers haven't experienced in years. Symptoms, Diagnosis, and Medical Realities Participants discussed the difficulty of obtaining a correct diagnosis, noting that the medical establishment frequently labels Morgellons patients with "delusional parasitosis." Richard highlights that symptoms like non-healing lesions, filaments/fibers growing from the skin (sometimes fluorescent), and intense neurological sensations are physical realities, not delusions. The discussion also touches on "cofactors" such as Lyme disease, Collembola, mites, and environmental stressors like GMOs, glyphosate, and EMFs, all of which can exacerbate the condition by weakening the immune system. Practical Health and Environmental Tips The session provided several actionable health tips for those in the program: Hydration: Sharon shared a personal experience of being hospitalized for dehydration. Richard suggested the "pinch test" (pinching the skin to see if it stays tented) as a quick check for hydration levels. Supplements: Richard shared a breakthrough using "Polyphenols" (Digestive Aid) to manage diabetic-like symptoms and neuropathy, suggesting that some issues attributed to insulin may actually be digestive in nature. Environment: For disinfecting the home, hypochlorous acid was discussed as a less toxic alternative to ammonia, though results vary by individual. Cookware: Cast iron is highly recommended for its safety and traditional benefits, provided the user does not have iron sensitivity. Finding Purpose through Suffering A significant portion of the call focused on the "purpose of life" discovered through the struggle with Morgellons. Sharon and Carol Ann both expressed that their experiences led them closer to spiritual faith and a desire to "pay it forward" by coaching others. Richard reflected on his own journey from engineering to stress management and eventually to parasite research, concluding that his purpose is providing results-oriented solutions for a community often ignored by mainstream medicine. The discussion reinforces that while Morgellons is a devastating condition often dismissed by the medical community, recovery is possible through a disciplined dietary approach and a supportive community. By addressing both the physical cofactors and the spiritual mindset, sufferers can transition from "parasite breeding machines" back to healthy, purposeful individuals.

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Co-infections, The Restrictive Dietary Protocol, Environmental Decontamination and Recovery from Morgellons This episode of the Skin Wars features Richard Kunes, author of How to Get Your Life Back from Morgellons, Lyme, and Other Skin Parasites, discussing comprehensive recovery strategies. The session provides a deep dive into identifying skin parasites, implementing a "Stage 1" restrictive diet, and executing rigorous environmental cleaning protocols. The overarching goal is to educate sufferers on reclaiming their health when traditional medicine fails to provide answers. Defining Morgellons and Co-infections Morgellons is primarily identified by the presence of non-normal filaments or fibers emerging from the skin or lesions, which may vary in color or even appear to move. It is often part of a "hodgepodge" of issues, including Collembola (springtails), mites, and skin fungus, each presenting distinct symptoms like intense 24/7 itching or "shards of glass" sensations. While the medical community frequently dismisses these symptoms as "delusional parasitosis," the protocol focuses on education rather than clinical diagnosis, emphasizing that these organisms are physical realities that respond to specific environmental and internal changes. The Restrictive Dietary Protocol The recovery process relies heavily on a specialized diet that removes "food" for the parasites. Unlike standard healthy diets, this protocol excludes many common items like carrots, peas, asparagus, and even olive oil, as these are believed to support the parasite lifecycle. In "Stage 1," fruits are strictly limited to lemons, limes, and occasionally grapefruit. The speakers emphasize that success depends on strictly adhering to these limitations to starve the organisms and allow the body's resources to focus on healing. Environmental Decontamination and Protection Cleaning the environment is as critical as treating the skin, as re-infection occurs through contact with "infected" furniture, cars, and bedding. Effective tools include ammonia, enzymes, and organic fungicides containing 70% neem oil. For outdoor activities like gardening, the team suggests "overkill" measures, including liming the soil and wearing protective clothing treated with high-concentration DEET to prevent the migration of parasites back onto the host. Specialized Skin Care and Supplements Treating the skin involves more than simple washing; it requires debriding soaps (like Nature's Gift) and protocols to reach parasites embedded layers deep. For specific issues like skin cysts, participants suggested Ichthammol cream to draw out foreign matter or "Garli-Derm" cream for healing. Targeted supplements are also used to build immune function, though users are cautioned to check ingredients for hidden sugars or starches that might violate the diet. Recovery from Morgellons and associated skin parasites requires a disciplined, multi-faceted approach that addresses the body, the diet, and the physical environment simultaneously. By combining strict dietary "starvation" of the parasites with aggressive environmental cleaning and community support, sufferers can transition from a state of "parasite machine" back to a normal, healthy life.

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Holistic Strategies for Morgellons, Parasites, and Chronic Disease Recovery This episode of the Skin Wars podcast, hosts Richard and Robin interview their expert guest, Nancy. The discussion provides a deep dive into the pathology of Morgellons disease, the systemic burden of internal and external parasites, and alternative protocols for immune recovery and cancer management. Defining Morgellons and the Parasitic Environment Morgellons is characterized by the body's production of abnormal filaments and fibers composed of collagen and keratin, which often fluoresce and appear in various colors such as white, blue, red, or black. These fibers are distinct from normal hair and are frequently found accumulating like lint in bedding. Symptoms are often severe, with 95% to 99% of sufferers experiencing intense itching, "biting" sensations that feel as though they reach the bone, and non-healing lesions. The speakers emphasize that infected individuals act as "walking parasite machines," shedding organisms into their environment and onto furniture, necessitating a rigorous approach to environmental cleaning and the treatment of pets to prevent constant re-infestation. The "King Diet" and Nutritional Foundation A cornerstone of the recovery protocol is the "King Diet," a highly restrictive nutritional framework designed to reduce the "fuel" available to parasites. Unlike standard paleo or low-sugar diets, the King Diet prohibits common healthy foods such as carrots, peas, asparagus, and most vegetable oils (including olive, corn, and safflower oils). The protocol limits intake to specific items like rice bran oil, real butter, ghee, animal fats, and cocoa. This dietary discipline is presented as the essential first step in reducing the biological stress on the body and making medical treatments more effective. Medical-Grade Treatment Protocols Nancy and Richard detailed a synergistic "Bundle" approach to eliminate the multi-layered burden of parasites and fungi. The protocol moves beyond simple herbal tinctures, which can sometimes feed certain parasites like Collembola. -Lufenuron: Targets the formation of chitin, effectively neutralizing mold, yeast, and systemic fungal infections (like Candida) without affecting human biology. -Nitenpyram: Rapidly kills external biting adults (fleas, mites) within 30 minutes. -Fenbendazole: Disrupts nanotubules in internal worms and has shown significant potential in targeting cancer cells. -Ivermectin: A broad-spectrum anti-parasitic used at specific dosages (12-24mg) to clear internal loads. -Praziquantel: Included specifically for the removal of tapeworms, which are resistant to other anti-parasitics. The Cancer Connection and Immune Realignment Nancy shared her personal history of surviving aggressive cancer after being sent to hospice 12 years ago. Her recovery was attributed to alternative protocols, specifically the use of Fenbendazole and Lufenuron to strip away protective fungal biofilms from tumors, allowing the immune system to recognize and destroy cancer cells. A critical component of her "Beyond" protocol is Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN), which realigns the immune system rather than suppressing it. She argues that chronic parasite loads exhaust the immune system, leaving the body unable to fight off aberrant cancer cells. The discussion highlights that Morgellons and chronic parasitic infections are not merely skin issues but systemic failures often exacerbated by environmental toxins and immune exhaustion. By combining the strict "King Diet" with a multi-drug approach (The Bundle) and immune-modulators like LDN, the speakers suggest that even those in "doomsday" health scenarios can reclaim their lives.

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Strategies for Managing Morgellons and Skin Parasites A comprehensive protocol for managing skin parasites through internal diet and external environmental control This episode of Skin Wars explores the comprehensive management strategies discussed in the Morgellons Think Tank, led by Richard Koons. The episode outlines the "King Diet," rigorous environmental disinfection protocols, and specialized skin care routines designed to address Morgellons, Collembola, and related parasitic infestations. Core Philosophy: The Inside-Outside Approach The program is built on the premise that recovery requires a dual-focus strategy: stopping internal breeding through diet while simultaneously eliminating external organisms from the environment and skin. Richard Koons emphasizes that because the body acts as a "walking parasite machine," cleaning the skin without addressing the internal environment or the living space results in a never-ending cycle of re-infection. The King Diet: Internal Regulation The "King Diet" is the foundation of the protocol, described as more restrictive than Paleo or Mediterranean diets. It specifically excludes items like carrots, peas, olive oil, corn, and even breath mints containing certain sugars. The diet consists of three stages, moving from a highly restrictive Stage 1 to a more flexible Stage 3 as symptoms subside. Success in Stage 1 can be achieved in as little as a week if followed perfectly, though mistakes can extend this period to months. Environmental and Laundry Protocols Effective disinfection relies on specific agents and mechanical tools. Laundry-grade ammonia is cited as the most cost-effective disinfectant for clothing and surfaces, though it must be used with caution due to its nature as a neurotoxin and its toxicity to pets. For resistant infestations, a "tote method" is recommended, using ammonia fumes to treat clothing before washing. Additionally, the use of electrostatic sprayers is highlighted for rapid coverage of large areas and airborne organisms, though ammonia should never be used in these machines as it causes damage. Skin Debriding and Bathing Routine Bathing is a critical component of the "outside" strategy. The protocol suggests bathing up to three times a day using specific agents like Nature's Gift Debriding Soap, Epsom salts, borax, or peppermint oil. The debriding soap is designed to penetrate the skin and physically signal organisms to leave, while disinfectants in the water neutralize them. It is strictly advised never to shampoo hair in the bathtub to prevent organisms from entering the eyes, which can cause temporary blindness. Recovery from Morgellons and skin parasites is presented as a disciplined, full-time commitment. By combining the restrictive King Diet with meticulous environmental cleaning and frequent debriding baths, the protocol aims to transform a "major catastrophe" into a manageable "blip" in the patient's life.

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Holistic Strategies for Morgellons and Parasite Recovery This episode of the Skin Wars podcast hosted by Richard Kuhns, Carrianne, and Robin. The discussion provides a comprehensive framework for self-diagnosing Morgellons disease, understanding the systemic dangers of scratching, and implementing rigorous environmental and dietary protocols to reclaim health from skin parasites. Defining Morgellons and Self-Diagnosis Morgellons is primarily characterized by the production of abnormal filaments and fibers—composed of collagen and keratin—that emerge from the skin in various colors such as red, blue, white, and green. These fibers are distinct from normal body hair and may be microscopic or accumulate as "lint balls" in bedding and clothing. While biting sensations and non-healing lesions are common, the presence of these specific filaments is the definitive marker of the disease. Other reported symptoms include the emergence of "gooky" substances, barbs, or even cocoon-like structures from the dermis. The Physiological Danger of Scratching A critical highlight of the discussion is the "scratching-inflammation cycle." Research indicates that mechanical skin injury from scratching triggers the expansion of mast cells—immune cells that modulate allergic reactions. This activation can lead to Leaky Gut Syndrome, compromising the intestinal walls and allowing toxins, parasites, and Candida albicans to enter the bloodstream. Furthermore, the brain's suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) can trigger "contagious itching" simply by observing others scratch, making community awareness and self-control vital for recovery. Environmental and Topical Protocols Effective recovery requires a dual approach: cleaning the body and the environment. Richard emphasizes that without a 50-page protocol for disinfecting workspaces, cars, and homes, patients often face continuous reinfection. Ammonia is recommended as a highly effective, low-cost disinfectant for surfaces and laundry. Topically, the use of "Nature's Gift" debriding soap and portable spray bottles can provide instant relief from itching, effectively "breaking the cycle" and preventing further mast cell activation. Internal Management and Dietary Nuances The "King’s Diet" serves as the foundation for internal recovery, though it requires strict adherence. For instance, Ezekiel bread, often considered healthy, can trigger "crawling" sensations in early stages and should be avoided until Stage 3. Additionally, internal variables like fungal overgrowth should be managed with Lufenuron, while parasites may require Fenbendazole. The group also discussed the benefits of Zeolite for managing "die-off" (Herxheimer) reactions, which can cause temporary spikes in skin symptoms as toxins are released. Recovery from Morgellons and related skin parasites is a multifaceted "war" involving dietary discipline, environmental sterilization, and emotional support. By understanding the physiological triggers of inflammation—specifically the dangers of scratching—and utilizing targeted disinfectants like ammonia and debriding soaps, individuals can move from a state of despair to a structured path of healing.

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin O'Herron Understanding and Decoding Morgellons, A Comprehensive Guide to Symptoms, Co-factors, and Recovery Hosted by Robin O'Herron and expert Richard Kunes, the discussion provides a deep dive into the multifaceted nature of Morgellons disease, emphasizing that while symptoms vary significantly between individuals, recovery is possible through a disciplined approach involving the "King Diet," environmental disinfection, and targeted supplementation. Defining Morgellons and Symptom Variability Morgellons is primarily defined by the growth of abnormal filaments and fibers from the skin, which are composed of keratin and collagen. These fibers can manifest in various colors (white, black, blue) and may require magnification to detect. Beyond these fibers, patients often report a "hodgepodge" of symptoms, including non-healing ulcerations, intense itching that feels like "shards" under the skin, and "sparkles" which may be microscopic mite eggs. The podcast emphasizes that no two sufferers share the exact same symptomatology, making a "one-size-fits-all" solution impossible. The Complex Web of Co-factors A critical takeaway is that Morgellons rarely exists in isolation. It is frequently accompanied by various "co-factors" that keep the disease "in power." These include Collembola (90% of cases), mites (nearly 100%), fungal infections like Candida, and spirochetal infections like Lyme disease. Environmental factors also play a significant role, with heavy metal toxicity (specifically mercury from dental amalgams) and EMF/5G interference cited as stressors that weaken the immune system and endocrine communication. The Path to Recovery: Diet and Environment The cornerstone of the recommended recovery protocol is the King Diet, which focuses on building health and immune functioning. While the diet is largely gluten-free, it allows for specific grains like spelt. However, dietary changes alone are insufficient; patients must also engage in rigorous environmental disinfection. This includes specialized laundry protocols using ammonia and cleaning living spaces to prevent re-infection. The hosts argue that the medical community often dismisses these symptoms as "delusions of parasitosis," making self-education and community support vital. Supplementation Strategy The discussion highlights Glutathione as the most critical supplement for cellular detoxification, outperforming Quercetin or SOD. Because standard oral glutathione is often broken down in the stomach, the use of skin patches or precursors like D-Ribose and L-Cysteine (found in Max1) is recommended to ensure the molecule reaches the bloodstream effectively. Morgellons is a complex, multifaceted condition that is often misunderstood by the traditional medical establishment. By recognizing the disease as a combination of abnormal fiber growth and various biological/environmental co-factors, individuals can take control of their health. Success requires a holistic commitment to dietary discipline, aggressive environmental cleaning, and targeted cellular support.

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin Guest, Carrie Ann Allman - Navigating Morgellons, Holistic Protocols, Supplement Science, and Community Support This podcast episode features experts Richard Kunes and Carrie Anne discussing the multifaceted challenges of Morgellons disease, Lyme, and skin parasites. The conversation highlights the importance of a structured diet, environmental disinfection, and the scientific comparison of supplements like Glutathione and Quercetin. It emphasizes a holistic "tree" approach to healing, where diet serves as the foundation for recovery. Understanding Symptoms and Co-factors Morgellons is characterized by atypical filaments and fibers growing from the skin, often accompanied by intense itching, biting sensations, and non-healing lesions. However, the hosts note that these symptoms are frequently complicated by co-factors such as Collembola (springtails), which are rod-shaped organisms capable of jumping, and various skin fungi. Distinguishing between these is vital; for instance, biting sensations from Collembola remain stationary, whereas fungal sensations tend to migrate across the body. The "Tree" Protocol: Diet and Environment Richard Kunes describes his recovery protocol using a tree metaphor: the diet is the "trunk," while various supplements and therapies are the "branches." He argues that without the foundational diet and rigorous environmental disinfection, other treatments are ineffective. Because parasites can drop from the body and contaminate living spaces, disinfecting the environment is mandatory to prevent continuous reinfection. Furthermore, while many "fads" like tobacco or baking soda emerge in the community, Kunes suggests that only those that support the body's pH or immune response provide lasting value. Supplement Comparison: The Case for Glutathione A significant portion of the discussion focuses on comparing Quercetin, Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), and Glutathione. While Quercetin is recognized as a potent anti-inflammatory and histamine regulator, Kunes advocates for Glutathione (specifically a patented form called MAX-1) as the superior choice. He highlights Glutathione's unique ability to recycle vitamins A, C, and E, detoxify metals, and protect DNA from the modifications allegedly caused by Morgellons. He notes that standard "reduced" glutathione supplements have poor absorption, whereas specialized formulations can boost cellular levels significantly. Social Support and Environmental Stressors The emotional toll of Morgellons is exacerbated by a lack of spousal or family support, which the hosts describe as starting a recovery journey at a "minus 50" disadvantage. Beyond social factors, the discussion touches on modern environmental stressors, including EMF/5G sensitivity and the impact of glyphosate on gut health. The hosts suggest that these factors may contribute to the "synthetic" nature of the disease, which they believe involves the body self-assembling filaments from keratin and collagen. This Skin Wars episode discussion, reinforces that overcoming Morgellons requires a disciplined, multi-dimensional strategy. By focusing on the "trunk" of the protocol—diet and environmental hygiene—and utilizing high-absorption cellular support like Glutathione, patients can move toward recovery despite the lack of recognition from traditional medicine.

Skin Wars with Richard L Kuhns B.S.Ch.E., and co-host, Robin Guest, Carrie Ann Allman, administrator of Morgellons Uncensored Facebook group - Navigating the Mystery And Path To Recovery This podcast features world-leading expert Richard Kunes and Carrie Ann Allman, founder of Morgellons Uncensored, discussing the complexities of Morgellons disease. The session focuses on moving beyond medical skepticism toward a multi-dimensional approach to healing, environmental hygiene, and community advocacy. The Nature of Morgellons and Medical Skepticism Morgellons is characterized as an insidious and mysterious disease that is frequently misdiagnosed by traditional medicine as "delusional parasitosis." Patients often face "gaslighting" from doctors who refuse to acknowledge physical evidence, such as fibers or lesions. The condition is defined by the presence of multi-colored filaments (white, red, blue) and a variety of intense physical sensations, including relentless itching, burning, and biting that feels as though it reaches the bone. Some sufferers also report "static" sensations and the emergence of bizarre, gelatinous, or plastic-like structures from the skin. The Multi-Dimensional Recovery Protocol Richard Kunes outlines a four-pillar approach to overcoming the disease: making the "King Diet" work, cleaning the skin, disinfecting the environment, and building immune function. The "King Diet" is a specialized regimen that excludes common items like carrots, peas, and olive oil to eliminate the biological fuel for the organisms. A critical, often overlooked step is environmental disinfection; because the body "sheds" these organisms, a patient can be immediately re-infected by sitting in their own car or furniture if the environment isn't treated. The protocol also suggests alkalizing the body and using boron as a foundational "antidote". Co-factors and the "Chessboard" Analogy Recovery is often complicated because Morgellons rarely exists in isolation. Approximately 90% of sufferers also deal with co-factors such as Collembola, mites, or fungal overgrowths like Candida albicans. Richard uses a "Chessboard" analogy: Morgellons is the King—the most important piece—but co-factors like Lyme disease, worms, or bacteria act as the "Queen" or "Rook." To defeat the King, one must often first eliminate these other "pieces" using targeted treatments like Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, or Lufenuron (which inhibits chitin production in fungus). Community Support and Advocacy The "Morgellons Uncensored" Facebook group, with over 13,600 members, serves as a vital resource for those who have been rejected by the medical establishment. The hosts emphasize the importance of community to prevent the despair and suicidal ideation that often accompany the disease. There is a strong call for various Morgellons advocacy groups to merge their efforts and create a unified voice to demand better research and validation. While Morgellons remains a complex and controversial condition within the medical community, this discussion highlights that recovery is possible through a disciplined, multi-dimensional approach. By addressing dietary triggers, environmental hygiene, and biological co-factors simultaneously, individuals can move from a state of "darkness" to reclaiming their health and lives.
