We’ve seen multiple players return early from injuries, only to suffer more serious setbacks that keep them sidelined long-term. After the injuries we saw along the offensive line last season, it’s time to take a closer look at how this team handles player health and recovery. Now, Kyler Murray suffered a severe concussion Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, and there are people who believe he should be ready to play this Sunday or next Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
But I beg to differ. When you suffer a serious concussion, the priority should be proper recovery and making sure the player is truly ready before returning to the field.
