   Everybody Makes the Playoffs Now

The boys are back, and Texas A&M football has officially reached the “what do we even do now?” stage of the season. Mike Elko is frustrated, the offense can’t score, Marcel Reed looks completely lost, and Alex and David spend the opening stretch debating whether it’s finally time to hand the keys to Brady Hart and start figuring out what the future of the quarterback room actually looks like. From there, the guys work through the rest of a chaotic college football weekend. Texas drops the Red River game, Oregon continues falling off a cliff, Kentucky keeps winning games nobody expected them to win, Georgia finally gets over the Alabama hump, and the possibility of a 24-team College Football Playoff starts to feel very real. That leads into a bigger conversation about NIL, donor money, exploding coaching salaries, conference power, and whether expanding the playoff is actually the only realistic way college football can keep funding the monster it has created. Then it’s NFL time, where somehow the NFC East may be even more dysfunctional than Texas A&M. The Cowboys can’t stop anybody, the Eagles can’t convert a third down or cover a kick, and Alex officially starts questioning whether Jayden Daniels deserves the same criticism other young quarterbacks have been getting. Thankfully, Houston finally gives the guys something positive to talk about. The Texans beat the brakes off Tennessee, CJ Stroud looks sharp, the defense starts looking like itself again, and Houston follows it up by trading for Marvin Harrison Jr. David immediately declares victory, Alex starts thinking about what Nico Collins and Marvin Harrison could look like together, and both guys agree the ceiling of the Texans offense just got a whole lot more interesting. The episode closes with two absolute NFL classics. The 49ers and Seahawks trade punches in one of the best games of the season, Mike Evans turns back the clock, Brock Purdy continues looking completely unfazed by injuries around him, and Kyle Shanahan remains firmly in his bag. Then Josh Allen puts on a ridiculous Monday night performance against the Rams and reminds everyone why the NFL is still king. And of course, the weekly bets return. The Browns betray both guys, David stays above .500, Alex continues trying to dig himself out of an early-season hole, and somehow Alex finds himself riding the Saints again for a third straight week. Aggie misery, quarterback controversy, playoff expansion, Texans optimism, Marvin Harrison Jr. hype, NFC East dysfunction, elite NFL football, and more questionable gambling confidence — pull up a chair and join the conversation.

   The Get Back Episode

The boys are back, and Alex returns from Dallas with one major conclusion: Houston is still better. After a weekend that included a Stars game, questionable Mexican food, and a renewed appreciation for H-Town, Alex and David debate Houston vs. Dallas, why Houston desperately needs an NHL team, and why every Texas sports city should have its own version of Texas Live. Then it’s back to football. Texas A&M finally gets a much-needed win over Arkansas, the camo uniforms get reviewed in real time, and the guys look ahead to Missouri after watching the Tigers completely dismantle Florida. Jeremiah Smith continues to look like a future superstar, which naturally leads to the question every struggling NFL fanbase eventually asks: if you somehow land the No. 1 pick, are you taking the quarterback or the generational receiver? From there, the Texans take center stage after falling to 0–4 despite CJ Stroud finally looking like himself again. David comes armed with receipts for everyone who blamed CJ, while Alex breaks down Houston’s defensive collapse, the secondary getting torched, Nico Collins changing the entire offense, and whether there’s still a realistic path for the Texans to dig themselves out of this hole. Around the rest of the NFL, the Falcons suddenly look dangerous, Bryce Young and the Panthers are no longer a joke, the Raiders might actually be legitimate, the Chiefs are starting to look like a sneaky Super Bowl futures play, and the Eagles continue finding new ways to make Alex miserable. Finally, it’s time for the weekly bets. David comes crashing back to earth after an 0–3 week, Alex claws his way back from an 0–6 start, and both guys head into another weekend convinced they’ve finally figured this thing out. Browns, 49ers, Saints, Ravens-Falcons, and one terrifying Lions-Cardinals over all make the board. Houston vs. Dallas, NHL dreams, Aggie get-backs, Texans heartbreak, CJ Stroud receipts, NFL chaos, gambling redemption, fantasy football trash talk, and a completely unnecessary late detour into OVO lore — pull up a chair and join the conversation.

Play Callers Are Ruining Our Lives

The boys are back, and unfortunately for Texas A&M, so is the pain. Alex opens the episode collecting receipts after warning that the Aggies weren’t covering against LSU, which turns into a full postmortem on Marcel Reed, the offensive line, the play calling, and whether A&M’s problems are bigger than just one quarterback. From there, Alex and David go deep on what exactly has gone wrong in College Station. Is Marcel broken, is the offense failing him, or is the answer somewhere in between? The guys debate Colin Klein’s impact, Holmon Wiggins’ play calling, whether Mike Elko should look to the transfer portal next offseason, and how quickly a season that started with playoff expectations has turned into conversations about seven or eight wins. The college football chaos doesn’t stop there. Florida runs through Ole Miss, Trinidad Chambliss finally looks human, Oregon gets its revenge on USC, and the guys debate whether a 14-team playoff would suddenly sound a lot better now that the Aggies are sitting on the outside looking in. Then it’s over to the NFL, where the Texans are somehow 0–3 and dealing with their own offensive identity crisis. Alex and David break down CJ Stroud, Nick Caley’s play calling, the offensive line, Houston’s depleted receiving corps, and whether it’s officially time to hit the panic button. They also get into Case Keenum turning back the clock on Monday Night Football, the Eagles wasting opportunities, the Raiders suddenly looking dangerous, and the Cowboys finding one of the most painful ways imaginable to lose a football game. To close it out, the weekly bets return. Alex finally crawls onto the scoreboard, David keeps rolling, and both guys immediately respond by making another collection of bets they may regret by Sunday night. Aggie despair, quarterback arguments, transfer portal hypotheticals, Texans frustration, Case Keenum heroics, Cowboys heartbreak, Raiders hype, and another week of gambling with questionable confidence — pull up a chair and join the conversation.
