Whether she’s on the beach in a bikini, or out at the club in a cocktail dress, Maci Ono is proud to show off her physique. But that wasn’t always the case.
“For the longest time growing up, like I think because I hated myself so much, I was just angry,” she said.
Since she was a child, Maci struggled with her weight, even resorting to dangerous eating habits.

Hawaii bartender gets paid to slap her customers

Whether she's in high heels, blind folded using one arm or competing in a singlet, Stacia Cambra can move some serious weight. Just shy of 5 feet tall and just a tick over 100 pounds, the 27-year-old from Nanakuli is a 12-time world record holder in powerlifting. Her biggest raw numbers: 292 pound back squat, a 214 pound bench and a 385 pound deadlift. The former Kapolei High softball star says her training began in grade school, growing up doing 100 push-ups, squats and sit-ups every night. With a strong foundation, Cambra was a natural with the barbell.

Episode 1: Kulani Watson
At 6-foot-4, Kulani Watson is hard to miss. But it's his big sense of humor that's made him a social media star.
The Kalihi native's videos have earned him nearly 63,000 Instagram followers and 55,000 on TikTok.
Watson got his start in front of crowds leading the haka for his Damien Memorial Football team.Before going viral, Watson spent years working side jobs, creating t-shirts and answering angry customer service calls at a local bank
.Watson eventually started gaining followers after a move to Utah and submitting a video to fellow Polynesian content creators.
Since moving back to Hawaii, Watson now writes skits with his own sketch comedy group and hopes to one day transition to short films and sitcoms. (edited)
