About Snatched Up
Snatched Up is the unfiltered podcast for women who've lived through some shit & learned to laugh about most of it. Hosted by Jenn Clancy & Amber Hartley — two single moms, two best friends, two careers we're proud of, & zero successful relationships between us — yet. Every week we're talking about the things your group chat won't shut up about: relationships & dating in real time, money, single mom life, blended family chaos, health, hormones, the 3 a.m. wake-ups, the Target parking lot meltdowns, & the "is this normal or do I need therapy" conversations. (Spoiler: it's always both.) We've made the mistakes — most of them twice — & spent a small fortune on therapy so you don't have to. We're not pretending we have it figured out. We're just further along than yesterday, & we want to bring you with us. Some weeks we'll make you think. Some weeks we'll make you cry. Most weeks, we'll make you laugh so hard you'll have to pull over. Welcome to Snatched Up. Let's get into it.

When Their World Gets Heavy
As parents, we want to protect our children from everything. But what happens when the world becomes a place that hurts them, and we can't always make it better? In this heartfelt episode of Snatched Up, Amber and Jenn get real about bullying, rejection, peer pressure, and the emotional struggles our kids face growing up in a world that isn't always kind. From watching our children's confidence crumble to feeling helpless when they're hurting, we're talking about the parenting moments that break our hearts and challenge us the most. How do we raise confident, resilient kids without teaching them to harden their hearts? How do we help them stand up for themselves, embrace who they are, and understand that someone else's cruelty doesn't determine their worth? This episode is about more than bullying. It's about raising strong kids, leading with kindness, protecting their mental health, and reminding them that they are worthy of love, acceptance, and belonging. Because when their world gets heavy, they should never have to carry it alone. Join Amber and Jenn for an honest, emotional, and unfiltered conversation that every parent needs to hear. Listen, subscribe, and share with someone who needs this reminder. Our kids don't need a perfect world. They need to know they aren't facing it alone.

I'm Tired of Being Tired
This week on Snatched Up, Jenn and Amber are talking about the kind of exhaustion sleep doesn't always fix: mental load, decision fatigue, overstimulation, burnout, and the invisible list of things constantly running through your brain. Because sometimes it's not the laundry that breaks you — it's remembering the laundry exists, knowing the detergent is low, scheduling the appointment, answering 47 questions, figuring out dinner, and then having someone ask you where the ketchup is. We're also getting real about why we disappeared for a few weeks and why sometimes even the things you love can start to feel like one more responsibility when life is already overflowing. Maybe balance isn't doing everything consistently. Maybe it's deciding what gets dropped for a minute — and refusing to feel guilty about it. Jenn and Amber dig into the mental load women often carry, the difference between someone "helping" versus actually owning a responsibility, weaponized incompetence versus different standards, being overstimulated and touched out, and why exhausted adults sometimes stay up way too late just because nighttime is finally theirs. And because this is Snatched Up, we're not turning burnout into another wellness assignment. We're talking about realistic resets, lowering the standard on purpose, letting some things be "good enough," and asking the most important question of adulthood: chef for life or personal assistant for life? If you've ever turned the radio off because one more sound might send you over the edge, ordered takeout because you physically could not make another decision, or stayed awake scrolling even though you were exhausted… this episode is for you.

Money Matters
This week on Snatched Up, Jenn and Amber are talking about something that can make or break a relationship faster than almost anything else: money. In Episode 13: Money Matters, we're getting into the conversations couples sometimes avoid until they absolutely can't — spending habits, debt, income, budgeting, financial independence, combining finances, and what happens when two people have completely different relationships with money. How much should you disclose when you start dating? When does someone else's debt become your concern? Should couples combine everything, keep separate accounts, or do a little of both? And what happens when one person is a saver while the other treats Amazon Prime like a financial strategy? We're also talking about the bigger issues underneath the numbers: trust, communication, control, expectations, lifestyle, and the importance of knowing exactly what you're signing up for before love starts making financial decisions on your behalf. Whether you're single, dating, divorced, rebuilding, or already sharing a checking account with somebody, this episode is a reminder that financial compatibility matters — and avoiding the conversation doesn't make the numbers disappear. Grab your coffee, your calculator, and maybe your latest credit card statement. It's time to talk Money Matters.

Amber Alert
Amber didn't ask for this... but the internet definitely showed up anyway. After Jenn jokingly posted that she was taking applications to find her best friend a man, the video exploded—61,000 Instagram views and 56,000 TikTok views, with thousands of likes, comments, and hundreds of "qualified" (and very questionable) applicants. In this hilarious episode of Snatched Up, Jenn officially becomes Amber's self-appointed dating recruiter. The ladies break down the viral response, review some of the best (and worst) applicants, debate what actually makes someone relationship material, and reveal the non-negotiables every single woman should have. From man hands to fish pictures, gym selfies, widowers, beards, and everything in between, nothing is off limits. If you've ever survived online dating, this episode will have you laughing, nodding your head, and wondering if romance should require an actual application. Warning: Side effects may include laughing out loud, questioning humanity, and wanting to submit your own application.

Dating with Witnesses
Dating is complicated enough—but when you have kids, you are not just choosing a partner. You are choosing someone who could eventually become part of your children's lives. In this episode, Jenn and Amber are joined in person by Sarah Zipfel, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master's degree in professional counseling. Sarah specializes in relationships, trauma, codependency, and helping people heal from toxic relationships. Together, they tackle the questions every single parent eventually faces: When should your kids know you are dating? How long should you wait before introducing someone? Should your children get a vote? What happens when they hate the person you are dating—or when two sets of kids do not get along? They also dig into sleepovers, discipline, house rules, different parenting styles, moving in together, and the biggest mistakes parents make when blending families. Because when you date as a parent, there are always witnesses—and sometimes those witnesses have very strong opinions. Listen now, follow Snatched Up, and share this episode with a single parent trying to date without emotionally traumatizing the entire household.

The Dating Aisle
Dating after 40 is not for the weak — especially when the apps are terrifying, the green flags are hard to find, and someone suggests going to Home Depot on a Friday morning to meet available men. In this episode of Snatched Up, Jenn and Amber step into The Dating Aisle and talk about dating in the wild, pickleball green flag events, Home Depot O-ring experiments, golf course bar strategies, and the chaos of trying to meet men organically. Jenn shares that she is single again, but not quite ready to date. After a big move, a lot of personal and professional transition, and a recent autoimmune flare-up, she is focusing on healing, health, and honoring where she is instead of rushing back out there. She also opens up about falling hard for someone amazing, while recognizing that timing and real-life circumstances matter. Amber brings the laughs with her latest dating update, including a recent make-out session at Toy Story 5 and the realization that she may need to be honest about the podcast upfront when dating. This episode is funny, honest, a little unhinged, and full of real talk about dating while healing, meeting men in the wild, knowing when you're ready, and deciding what's snatched or sketched in the modern dating world. Follow Snatched Up on TikTok and Instagram for clips, behind-the-scenes chaos, and all the dating experiments we probably should not be trusted with. Until next time, stay Snatched Up.

Unhinged, Unfiltered & Uncut
** We had to pull the first upload because the intro music came in like it owned the place. So we fixed it reposted it and now Episode 9 is back the way it was meant to be: unhinged, unfiltered, uncut and fully audible. In Episode 9, Jenn and Amber are going completely unhinged and uncut. No script, no filter, and possibly no responsible adult in sight. This episode is all about letting you get to know the real women behind Snatched Up - the friendship, the chaos, the hot takes, the things we probably should not say out loud but absolutely do anyway. We're answering hilarious, personal and slightly dangerous questions about dating, motherhood, hormones, body image, friendship, red flags, green flags, and what happens when two women with big personalities, big opinions, and even bigger group chats sit down with microphones.

Hot Shots & Hot Flashes
I'm 46, hotter than I've ever been, and my body is proving it at 3am. This week we're getting into the stuff nobody warned us about — the shots, the hormones, and the bodies we've been fighting our whole lives. Jenn opens up about gaining weight at 25 with undiagnosed PCOS running in the background, two miscarriages at 42 and 43, and what it's like to land in perimenopause while dating younger men and figuring out if she's even supposed to tell them. Amber gets real about carrying weight since puberty, doing everything "right" for decades, and what it means that a weekly injection did what none of it could. We're talking GLP-1s and the judgment that comes with them, HRT and the fear that scared women away from it for 20 years, and the question every woman is quietly asking herself: am I treating my body, reclaiming it, or just caving to a world that was never going to be satisfied anyway? No lectures. No medical advice. Just two best friends telling you the truth — and reminding you that you're not crazy, and you're not alone. Plus a rapid-fire round of Snatched Up or Sketched Out you're going to want to argue with us about. Follow us on TikTok & Instagram @snatcheduppodcast and tell your group chat. 💕

Raised by the Algorithm
We were raised by VHS tapes and a landline. Our kids are being raised by the algorithm. This week we're getting into how you raise good humans in a world that looks nothing like the one we grew up in. Jenn changed the passcode on her kids's phone, felt powerful, felt in control - for about a day, until they read it off the reflection in the window. (Outparented by a pane of glass.) We're talking screen time, social media, phone, online safety, and digital drama. Is AI homework cheating? Is tracking your kid 24/7 protective or invasive? And should parents be reading their kids' texts at all? Then we play Snatched Up or Sketched Out with parenting situations that might get us canceled - reading text, location tracking, no social media until 16, kids paying rent at 18, and more. Some days we nail it. Some days we're negotiating screen time while scrolling our own phones. Either way, you're not doing it alone. New episodes drop every Wednesday. Hit follow, send this to the mom in your group chat mid screen-time war, and come get Snatched Up.

Swipe Right On Good Credit
Your credit score is following you around more than your ex- and unlike your ex, this one actually affects your future. House, car, apartment, sometimes even your insurance and your cell plan: three little numbers are quietly running your life, and nobody taught us a thing about them. We learned the Pythagorean theorem. We did not learn why one missed payment can haunt you like a finacially irresponsible ghost. This week we're breaking down credit without the shame spiral. What your score actually means. Why the number on your free app is NOT the number a mortgage lender sees (this one's important, and yes, we have receipts). The mistake quietly keeping women broke - high blanaces, co-signing for a man you've known six months, closing that old card you thought you were being responsible about. Plus the dating red flags: would you date someone with a 500 credit score? Does your answer change if they had a hard season but they're actually fixing it? We're playing Snatched Up or Sketched Out, getting into the myFico-vs-Credit Karma of it all, and reminding you that your score is not your worth - but it can absolutely affect your opportunities. So we're done being scared of it. We're getting in charge of it. Take charge of your credit. Come get Snatched Up. This episode is for education and conversation only - not financial, credit, legal, or tax advice. Just two best friends, no shame and a lot of truth. Comment your biggest credit lesson, tell us if you'd date bad credit and tell us what your credit would say about you if it could. Share this episode with a friend who needs it!

Red Flags and Name Tags
A man did cartwheels down the sidewalk on a date. Amber texted Jenn SOS mid-cartwheel. And honestly? That's where this episode starts and it only gets better. This week we're counting every red flag we saw, ignored, and sometimes clapped for. The unsolicited hand massage. The guy who only exists on TikTok. The one who brought an anxious-attachment book to date three. Getting you drunk on a first date, still living with the ex, "not technically divorced yet", and the love bomber who moved way too fast. Plus, the dildo story you'll be texting your group chat about - and the part where Amber admits she might be the red flag. We get into the dating scene for real: speed dating chaos, the apps, and the gap between how a man texts and how he actually shows up. We answer your emailed questions (one of you wants to know about dating way younger - we have thoughts). And we close it out with a round of Snatched Up or Sketched Out: mom's opinion before yours, the favorite- flower move, "wyd" at 11 p.m., and the man with a few too many "girl" friends. Whether you're married, partnered, co-parenting, freshly single, or just here for the stories - pull up. You're not behind. You're just paying attention now. New episodes drop weekly. Glow Up or Glow Out
Women spend $1.6 billion a year chasing the glow up - and half of it is a scam. This week, Jenn and Amber are pulling back the curtain on every treatment, trend and ridiculous purchase they've tried in the name of looking snatched. We're talking real cost of laser hair removal vs waxing vs shaving (with the numbers to back it up), the honest Botox and Filler conversation nobody wants to have - including pricing, finding a good injector, and how to avoid the "overfilled" face epidemic. Jenn opens up about here PRP, Sculptra, IPL and Fraxel experiences. Amber shares her Botox story and the $24 Sephora dupe she swears by over her $180 serum. Then we get into the Cabinet of Horrors - every bullshit product we bought into so you don't have to. Posture pumps. Vampire facials. Anal bleaching kits. Cellulite creams. Fascia Blasters. Lash perm kits we tried at home. We're naming names. Plus - we're making a 4 week commitment on-air to two viral trends (the standing vibration plate and the TikTok ab routine that promises to "melt your lower belly"). Verdict episode coming. We close with Snatched Up or Sketched Out - rapid-fire scenarios you've absolutely though about: Botox in your 20s "preventatively." Mommy makeovers instead of therapy after divorce. Lying about your work - "it's just water and Pilates." Looking better after the breakiup than you ever did in the relationship. Whether you're snatched up by your routine or sketched out by your spending - this one's for you. DM us your most ridiculoud beauty buy or the most expensive thing you've ever bought trying to glow up- @SnatchedUpPodcast on TikTok & Instagram, or email snatcheduppodcast@gmail.com. Next week: Red Flags & Name Tags- every man you should've walked away from, and the label he should've come with. Hit follow. Tell your group chat. Come get Snatched Up.

Mama Said There'd Be Days Like This
Some days you're crushing it. Other days you're sitting in the car in the driveway — engine off, kids inside, eyes closed — buying yourself 15 more minutes before you walk back in and become "Mom" again. This week on Snatched Up, Jenn and Amber are getting honest about the part of motherhood nobody posts about — the mental load, the invisible labor, the guilt that hits at 2 a.m., and the quiet moments when you wonder if anyone actually sees how much you're carrying. Whether you're married, partnered, co-parenting, or doing it on your own — the weight is real. The to-do list never ends. You're the default parent, the planner, the snack-packer, the emotional thermostat for the whole house. And somewhere in all of it, you're trying to remember who you are outside of being someone's mom. Jenn and Amber are pulling back the curtain on what it actually looks like to mother through the hard seasons — the ones where you love your kids fiercely and miss who you used to be. The ones where you're doing everything "right" and still feel like you're falling short. We're talking about: • The mental load nobody warned us about • Mom guilt vs. mom truth • Showing up for your kids when you're running on empty • What "putting yourself first" actually means • The friendships, faith, and small rituals that hold it all together Plus a new round of Snatched or Sketched. 🎧 Listen now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, YouTube and everywhere you stream. Show Me The Money Honey
Money talks - but for most women, it whispers shame, fear and " I should know this by now". This week, the mortgage lender and the tax pro are pulling back the curtain on the conversations women don't have out loud. What we actually make. What we actually owe. And how we actually build something real - without pretending we have it all figured out. This isn't girl-math. This isn't "treat yourself". This is the real finance episode for women buying her first home, rebuilding after divorce, or finally ready to open the bank app without flinching. Amber will polish it. Jenn will burn it down. Either way, you're walking out of this one with your wallet wide awake. Stream now on Apple, Spotify, Amazon Music, iHeart & YouTube Music.

The Cougar & The Cub
Welcome to Snatched Up. We're Jenn and Amber - best friends, single moms, and the truth-tellers your group chat has been waiting for. In our debut episode, "The Cougar & The Cub", we're tackling the elephant in the room: the decade between us, the men we've dated, and the very different places we're standing right now. Jenn's never traditionally dated a day in her life - every relationship she's had started through work - and now she's out here doing it in real time, talking to men older and younger. Amber's intentionally not dating, sitting in The Healing Chair after walking out of something toxic and choosing herself first. We're getting into why we've both always been drawn to older men, what ambition and stability actually look like up close, and where the lines blur when "the cub" enters the chat. Plus our first-ever round of "Snatched or Sketched" - one-word verdicts, one-sentence defences, no fence sitting allowed. She'll polish it. I'll burn it down. That's the whole show. New Episodes every Wednesday. Follow @snatcheduppodcast on Instagram & TikTok. www.SnatchedUp.me
