So, Anyway is an audio diary–style podcast hosted by two best friends capturing real conversations about life as it’s happening. Part life debrief, part unfiltered reflection, we talk through career ambition, staying single, dating disasters, intuition, burnout, friendships, and the quiet inner knowing that you’re meant for something more. From funny and uncomfortable moments to the ones you don’t realize matter until later, these are honest, unscripted conversations seen through our eyes.

We're back, baby! Season 2 is officially here, and after seven months away from the couch, we have a lot to catch up on.
Since we last recorded, there have been weekends upstate, a very long New York winter, career milestones, unexpected travel extensions, and one particularly chaotic trip to Miami. So, naturally, we have some stories.
We're catching each other up on everything we've missed, what we learned from Season 1 (including a few things about our audio 😂), career wins, imposter syndrome, and getting back into the routines that make us feel like ourselves.
And then there's Miami. Two cocktails, a hair appointment, and a missed dinner reservation. That's all we'll say for now.
Same couch, same friendship, and plenty to talk about. Welcome back to Season 2! 🥂

Episode 9: Messy, Honest—But Ours (S1 Final Episode)
Most friendships aren’t built in perfect moments—they’re built in chaos, honesty, and everything in between. In our season one finale, we’re reflecting on how it all started: two friends hitting record, figuring it out as we went, and accidentally building something deeper along the way. From chaotic nights to the conversations no one else hears, this season changed our friendship in the best way.
And yes, the audio gets a little messy at times—but honestly, that fits. Because so does friendship. We talk about what it really takes to build something strong: showing up, saying the uncomfortable thing, and choosing honesty even when it’s not polished.
Part reflection, part celebration, and a little look at what’s next, this episode is for anyone craving deeper, more authentic connection.

Episode 8: Triggered
In this episode, we discuss what it means to be triggered and where the responsibility lies when someone’s behavior bothers us. Using a recent experience, we reflect on self-awareness, accountability, and when it’s best to simply let things go.
The conversation also explores lessons we'd give our younger selves, touching on dating, confidence, and the pressure to find validation in relationships—even friendship breakups and the importance of choosing connections that feel easy and supportive.
Overall, it’s a candid conversation about growth, boundaries, and learning not to overthink everything.

Episode 7: Different Doesn’t Mean Behind
This week we’re catching up—Mexico City, Long Beach Island, and Jess stepping into full-time dog duty with ZoZo. Somewhere between travel stories and puppy chaos, the conversation naturally shifts to something deeper: expectations. Why do we sometimes assume that other people should want what we want?
We talk about the quiet pressure around relationships, dogs, houses, kids—and how easy it is to absorb the idea that there’s a “right” timeline for life. Being partnered is often labeled as success. Being single—even with strong friendships, independence, and joy—can be seen as lacking. This episode isn’t about rejecting love, family, or commitment. It’s about questioning the automatic narratives we inherit.
Different doesn’t mean behind.
It just means different.
And a life that feels aligned to you is never late.

Episode 6: Success on Your Terms
A quote about deserving success sparks a bigger conversation about ambition, comparison, and the pressure to always want more. We talk about the tension between believing "why not me?" while also questioning what success actually costs—and whether chasing the next thing sometimes pulls us out of the present. This episode is about redefining success on your own terms, acknowledging how far you’ve come, and learning to hold ambition and contentment at the same time. Because happiness isn’t constant—and maybe that’s not the goal anyway.

Episode 5: The Cost of Becoming
This is one of those conversations about the in-between—the part of life that doesn’t look polished yet, but is doing the most work. We talk about the moments that feel awkward, vulnerable, and a little embarrassing, but somehow end up being the exact ones that shape who you become.
If life were a movie, this would be the scene where the audience is quietly hoping you take the risk, say the thing, try the scary idea, and step out of the comfort zone you’ve outgrown. We reflect on creative fears, career crossroads, unfiltered opinions, and how putting yourself out there is often the price of growth.
More than answers, it’s a check-in with where we are right now: learning, evolving, and slowly becoming the next version of ourselves, one step at a time.

Episode 4: The Couch Chronicles
Someone you care about goes quiet, and your mind fills in the blanks. In this episode, we unpack the spiral—intuition vs. anxiety, and how silence can turn into intrusive thoughts. We talk why communication is the fastest way to calm the story in your head.

Episode 2: For the Record
In this audio-only Episode 2, we open with a few honest disclaimers—vocal fry, evolving opinions, and why this podcast is really a time capsule for our future selves. We talk about the tension between living fully in the present while still dreaming, planning, and pushing toward what’s next. Finally, we reflect on the seemingly small moments that quietly shaped us more than we realized at the time—and how perspective, time, and memory give them new meaning.

Episode 3: The Cost of Choice
In Episode 3, we talk about how changing your mistakes would mean changing yourself—and why making decisions is so hard when you’re afraid of disappointing people. We unpack the reality that hurt and disappointment are unavoidable, then ease into funny (and painful) dating stories, bad decisions, and the moments that taught us exactly who we are.

Episode 1: The Story of Us
Episode 1 kicks things off with an honest conversation about marriage, babies, and why staying single for so long has felt like a gift. We talk choosing career and growth over settling, trusting our timing, and the quiet belief we’ve always had — that we’re destined for something more, even if we don’t have it all figured out yet.
