TLDR: Nightwatching - Tracy Sierra (Book Preview)
It’s October, it’s spooky season, and somehow Jamie—the woman who does NOT like scary books—picked a horror/thriller. 😂This week, Jamie is treating Sarah, our resident scary-book lover, to Nightwatching by Tracy Sierra. And honestly? The irony is not lost on us. Because this book is basically Jamie’s **literal nightmare**.The story follows a mother home alone with her young children during a blizzard when she hears footsteps in the house. She and her kids hide in a secret room while she tries to figure out who—or what—is inside. 😳 It’s tense, claustrophobic, and built around those *what would YOU do?* moments that make a good thriller so hard to put down.And naturally, reading a book like this got us talking about the scary things in **our own lives** that could probably be turned into movies. Mad Mabel - Sally Hepworth (Book Club Discussion)
This week we’re diving into Jamie’s granny fiction pick: Mad Mabel—and let’s just say… this book was NOT what we expected. 😂We went in expecting a fun, maybe slightly creepy granny fiction story, but Mad Mabel went SO much deeper.
