After Awhile
Akin to a toxic lover, we always find our way back to you all. It doesn't sound as romantic when offered that way, huh? Anyway, welcome back and have a seat because we have an action-pack show! The action pack part is so dramatic but listen to the SHTT we got into during this last episode. First, Donnie leads us through a thoughtful conversation about addictions, where he shares intimate details concerning some recent reflective behavioral work that has produced another Super Mario Brothers level of awareness for him.
Then, Corey shares a vulnerable story about his therapeutic process and how we know when we are reaching a stopping point with therapy. In addition, he shares education about people's resistance to reflective, introspective, and retrospective work that brings more clarity and awareness into individuals' lives. As a group, we get into the recent comments made by Dr. Heavenly using the framework of cultural competency. Lastly, we talk about life's true luxuries as we age. We are glad you're here.
