Episode 1: I Thought God Left Me — Overcoming Grief, Loss & Finding Abundance
In 2016, my entire world stopped. Losing my dad—my biggest supporter, motivator, and the man who told me my voice was meant to heal—shattered my reality. I felt entirely empty, abandoned, and left wondering: How can God take the closest thing to me and expect me to be okay?
In this raw relaunch episode of Socially Awkward, I am taking off the veil and sharing the unfiltered truth about my wilderness years—from heavy numbing habits and toxic environments to the exact moment the word Faith hit me like a wrecking ball.
If you are a woman feeling empty, isolated, or like you’re just "getting by" on survival mode, this episode is for you. God didn't bring you through the fire just to smell like smoke. It’s time to move out of the numbing phase and step into the purpose-driven abundance He has waiting for you. You are not alone anymore.

My personal story of navigating devastating grief after losing my dad in 2016.

1. Identify your numbing agent: Name the habit, environment, or crowd you are using to ignore your pain or your calling.
2. Give God 5 minutes of raw honesty: Pray without a filter. Tell Him exactly how mad, hurt, or confused you are.
3. Remember who you are: Lean into this community. If you feel like you have no one, I am that someone for you now.
