Welcome to Socially Unwell, the podcast that's just self-aware enough to be dangerous. Hosted by Curtis and Billy, this is where behaviour gets exposed, dissected, and occasionally defended for reasons that make no sense.
From social media delusions to relationship disasters and the every day habits people swear they don't have. Nothing is off-limits and no one is safe... including us.
Expect chaotic games, brutal, honesty, and observations that feel a little too accurate. If you feel called out… You probably are. Tune in, stay unwell.
It's pride, which means the outfits are questionable, the expectations are unreasonable, and somehow we all still show up every year.
This week, we're getting into the weird, hilarious, occasionally exhausting reality of being part of the LGBTQ+ community. The things we love, the things that make absolutely no sense, the unwritten rules. Nobody agreed to, and the tiny moments that somehow make all the chaos worth it.
There are opinions. There are judgments. There are several moments where we should probably have kept our mouth shut.
And because apparently a normal pride episode wasn't enough, things eventually get… Aggressively un serious.
Happy pride, friendships. 🌈

Guilty Before "Hello"
People love to say they don't judge others… But let's be honest, you've already formed an opinion before someone even finishes saying "hi".
This week, we're talking about first impressions, snap judgments, and all the assumptions we make based on almost no information. Some surprisingly accurate. Others are spectacularly wrong.
Along the way, we put our instincts to the test, call out the personality types. We've all met, and share stories of the people who completely humbled us once we get to know them.
Turns out our brain writes a whole biography in about 10 seconds. The problem is… It doesn't always get the ending right.

Unhired, Unloved, Unhinged
Episode seven is officially the end of whatever credibility we had left.
This week, we're talking about embarrassing moments, social, disasters, and the tiny interactions that somehow we're playing in your head for the next decade. You know the ones. The moment where your soul briefly leaves your body while everyone else carries on with their day.
We share some of our own most painful stories, argue over the best ways to recover from public humiliation, put each other through some truly cursed, hypothetical scenarios, and somehow discover that surviving embarrassment is basically a universal life skill.
Plus, we break down Yes Man and ask which characters would completely fall apart under social pressure… And which ones would somehow make an awkward situation even worse.
Whether you're the type to laugh it off, overexplain until things somehow get worse, or seriously consider changing your identity after one uncomfortable interaction, this episode is for you.
Because nothing brings people together quite like collective humiliation. Unfortunately, we brought receipts.

Dying On Every Hill
Welcome to Socially Unwell!
Some people would rather lose a friendship than admit pineapple belongs on pizza. Others will spend hours defending a movie, a phone, a fast food chain or literally anything else that has zero impact on their actual lives.
So… Why?
This week we're diving into pointless loyalty, the bizarre need to defend harmless opinions like they're part of our identity and why the Internet has turned every preference into a full scale war. Somewhere between trying to understand it all and roasting the people responsible, we may have accidentally expose ourselves too.
If you've ever witnessed a completely unnecessary argument and thought "it is not that serious", congratulations! This episode is for you.

Functioning... Allegedly
This week, we stopped, judging everyone else for once and turned the spotlight on ourselves. From questionable routines to tiny daily habits that somehow control our lives, we are unpacking the strange little behaviors. We've all convinced our ourselves are completely normal.
Why do we make our best decisions at midnight? Which habits are harmless and which belong on a watchlist? At what point does a comfort routine become a personality trait?
Join us as we over analyze the everyday chaos of being an adult, call out some truly ridiculous behavior, and discover that maybe nobody actually has their life together. If you've ever promised yourself an early night, open the fridge for the fifth time in an hour, or convinced yourself tomorrow is the day you'll finally become organized…you'll fit right in!

Pop Culture Brain Damage
This episode of Socially Unwell dives into the strange ways the internet turns simple interests into full-blown identities. We unpack everything from fandom culture and comfort rewatches to parasocial relationships, celebrity worship and nostalgia bait.
We explore the internet's favourite hobby: getting way too emotionally invested in things that technically have nothing to do with us.
Whether you're a casual fan, a lore historian or someone currently writing a 12 part thread about why your favourite franchise was ruined forever, this episode might hit a little too close to home.

Strangers, Coworkers and Other Hazards
In this episode of Socially Unwell, we're basically trying to process how people manage to act so insane in public every single day.
We get into workplace weirdness, public etiquette disasters, and all the unhinged behaviour people somehow think is normal in shared spaces.
It's sarcastic, a little unfiltered, and honestly feels like the kind of conversation you have after one minor inconvenience pushes you completely over the edge in a grocery store parking lot.
If you've ever walked away from an interaction wondering how someone survives functioning in society, you'll probably feel seen listening to this one.

Soft Launching Our Villain Era
This week, we're risking actual friendships.
After exposing our dating lives last episode, we've decided to aim higher and unpack the chaos that lives inside friend groups. The weird dynamics, the unspoken tension, the personality traits that quietly cross the line into full-blown problems.
We break down every type of friend you have, or unfortunately are, from the planner who runs your life like a project to the canceller with Olympic-level timing.
From surviving a crashout with Bethany, to a falling out with Regina, the stories told remind us that sometimes you don't lose friends... you escape them.
We get into the messy, unspoken parts of friendships, the slow fades, the weird energy shifts, and those quiet moments where you realize something feels off but no one's saying it out loud. The kind of stuff that builds over time until you're sitting there rethinking the entire friendship.
If you've ever walked away from a hangout feeling off and couldn't explain why, this one's going to hit a little too close. Not everything that feels small actually is and not every friendship deserves the benefit of the doubt forever.
Listen carefully because you might recognize more than you expected.

It's Complicated... Obviously
Dating is easy… Until you actually start doing it.
Episode one of Socially Unwell dives straight into dating, relationships, and the patterns people swear they've "learned from"… But somehow keep repeating. From ignoring red flags to going back to the same person for absolutely no reason, we're breaking down the habits, excuses, and delusions that make modern dating feel like a full-time job.
It's messy, it's honest, and it's just self-aware enough to be uncomfortable.
If you feel called out… You probably should be.
