   Episode 5: Who Are You Outside of What Everyone Needs From You?

   Hey beautiful. 🤎 I have a question for you: Who are you? And before you answer—you can’t tell me you’re a mom, girlfriend, wife, daughter, sister, friend, employee, or anything else you do for somebody. Just you. Who is she? Somewhere between work, relationships, motherhood, bills, laundry, appointments, family, and everybody needing something, it’s easy to lose track of the woman underneath all those roles. In Episode 5, we’re talking about finding pieces of yourself again, having interests that belong to YOU, motherhood without losing your identity, maintaining yourself inside a relationship, and why everything you enjoy doesn’t need to be productive or turned into a side hustle. 😭😂 And maybe you don’t need to “get the old you back.” Maybe it’s time to get to know who you are now. 🤎 ☀️ Your Soft Step: Do one thing this week that’s completely for you. It doesn’t need to benefit your kids, partner, family, job, or bank account. It can simply make you happy. And remind yourself: “I am allowed to exist outside of what I do for other people.” Take care of the people you love, beautiful—but don’t disappear while doing it. Soft days create strong women. 🤎

   Start of the Week #5: Bring Back the Little Things That Make You Feel Like YOU

   Hey beautiful. 🤎 This Monday, we’re NOT having a serious meeting. 😂 When did we stop doing the little things just because they made us happy? Wearing perfume even though we’re not going anywhere. Playing music way too loud while we clean. Putting on the cute pajamas. Drinking out of the good glass. Doing our hair just because. Buying our favorite little snack. Life gets so routine that sometimes we forget we’re allowed to actually enjoy the regular days too. And no, this is not your sign to spend $300 at Target in the name of self-care. 😭😂 This week’s Start of the Week is about bringing a little personality, fun, and joy back into your everyday life—simply because you like it. ☀️ Your Soft Step: Choose one little thing that makes you feel like YOU and bring it back this week. No big lesson. No transformation challenge. We’re just enjoying ourselves a little more. 🤎 Because softness isn’t only about healing. Sometimes softness is joy. Soft days create strong women… but soft days can be fun too. 🤎✨

   Start of the Week #4: You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out

   A new week doesn’t mean you need a brand-new version of yourself or a perfect plan. 🤎 This week’s Start of the Week is your reminder to stop putting so much pressure on yourself to have everything figured out. You can move slowly, change your mind, take things one day at a time, and still be making progress. Take a few minutes with me to reset, breathe, and step into this week with a little more grace. One day. One thing. One soft step at a time. 💛

   You're Allowed To Outgrow People

   Hey beautiful. 🤎 Have you ever looked at a friendship or relationship and realized… nothing really happened, but this just doesn’t feel the same anymore? Maybe nobody betrayed anybody. There wasn’t a huge argument. You don’t hate them. You’ve just…changed. In Episode 4, we’re talking about one of the uncomfortable parts of becoming the woman you’re meant to be: outgrowing people. We’re getting into holding onto relationships because of history, realizing that somebody doesn’t have to be a bad person for a relationship to no longer fit, missing people without needing them back, and learning that sometimes relationships can simply take a different place in your life. And NO—we are not turning Soft Days into the Cut Everybody Off Podcast. 😭😂 Sometimes you need a conversation. Sometimes you need distance. Sometimes the relationship needs to change. And sometimes you have to accept that two good people can grow in different directions. 🤎 Your Soft Step: Think about the relationships in your life and ask yourself: Can I be my full self around this person? Do they support the woman I’m becoming? Do I support who they’re becoming? Am I holding onto this because it still feels good—or because we’ve known each other for a long time? Beautiful, you don’t have to make someone a villain to admit that you’ve outgrown the relationship. Some people can be an important part of your story without being part of every chapter. Keep growing. Keep becoming. And give yourself grace along the way. Soft days create strong women. 🤎

   Don't Let One Bad Moment Ruin Your Whole Week

   Hey beautiful. 🤎 Before we get too far into this week, here’s your reminder: One bad moment does NOT have to become a bad day—and one bad day doesn’t have to become a bad week. You can wake up late, spill your coffee, deal with somebody getting on your nerves, have plans completely fall apart…and still decide to reset. 😭 We’re not collecting evidence for why the whole week is terrible this time. 😂 In this little Start of the Week, we’re talking about learning to let a bad moment be exactly that—a moment—and giving ourselves permission to start over as many times as we need to. ☀️ Your Soft Step: When something throws you off this week, pause and remind yourself: “This was a bad moment. It doesn’t have to become a bad day.” Reset at 10 AM. Reset after lunch. Reset tomorrow morning. Just keep going. 🤎 One bad moment doesn’t get the whole day. Take it one day, one moment, and one soft step at a time. Soft days create strong women. 🤎

   Protecting Your Peace Without Losing Your Softness

   Hey beautiful. 🤎 Let’s talk about protecting your peace. Not the “block everybody and disappear” kind. 😂 I’m talking about learning what drains you, setting boundaries without feeling guilty, and realizing that you don’t have to be available to everybody all the time. Sometimes we’re so busy keeping the peace for everyone else that we end up sacrificing our own. In this episode, we’re talking about people-pleasing, saying no, giving people too much access to us, listening to what our energy is trying to tell us, and learning that somebody being disappointed in you doesn’t automatically mean you’ve done something wrong. Because protecting your peace doesn’t mean becoming cold. You can have boundaries and still have a soft heart. You can love someone and still need distance. You can care about people and still choose yourself. 🤎 ☀️ Your Soft Step: Before automatically saying yes this week, pause and ask yourself: Do I actually want to do this? Do I have the capacity for it? Or am I saying yes because I feel guilty saying no? Beautiful, your peace matters too. Soft days create strong women. 🤎

   Hey beautiful. 🤎 Before you start running through everything you need to get done this week… take a breath. This little Start of the Week is your reminder that you don’t have to do it all this week. Life is going to life. 😭 There will be work, kids, responsibilities, unexpected changes, unfinished to-do lists—and probably at least one moment where you’re already asking if it’s Friday yet. 😂 But a productive week doesn’t have to be a perfect week. This week, we’re slowing down, deciding what actually matters, and giving ourselves permission to take life one day, one thing, and one soft step at a time. ☀️ Your Soft Step: Pick three things that truly matter this week. Let those be your priorities and give yourself grace with the rest. Take a breath, beautiful. You have time. 🤎 Soft days create strong women.

   The Woman You’re Becoming

   Hey beautiful. 🤎 Have you ever looked at your life and thought, “I thought I’d be further along by now…”? In this episode, we’re talking about the uncomfortable space between who you used to be and the woman you’re becoming. We talk about comparison, feeling behind, changing your goals, giving yourself grace, and learning that growth doesn’t always look like a huge transformation. Sometimes it’s the quiet little moments—setting a boundary, choosing yourself, changing your mind, or simply deciding that you want something different. You don’t have to become harder to become stronger. You don’t have to become someone else to build a life you love. You’re becoming—and that takes time. 🤎 So take a breath, get comfortable, and let’s talk about it like besties. Your Soft Step: Ask yourself: Who am I becoming? What am I outgrowing?    A Good Way to Start the Week: Begin Anyway

   A little Monday reminder for the woman who keeps waiting until she feels ready. Sometimes we wait for more time, more money, more confidence, or the perfect moment to finally take the first step. But life keeps moving while we’re waiting. Today’s reminder is simple: you don’t have to have everything figured out. You just have to be willing to begin. Take what you need from this message, leave what you don’t, and carry it with you into the week. 🤎 A Good Way to Start the Week is a weekly Monday reminder from Soft Days with Marlisha.

    You're Not Too Late

    I almost waited. I kept telling myself I needed the right intro music, the perfect setup, more time.... just one more thing before I started. I even caught myself thinking, "Maybe I should rerecord it until it's perfect." But how many times am I going to rerecord, redo, and wait for the perfect version of something before I finally let myself begin? Life doesn't wait until everything is perfect. It keeps moving. And honestly, so do we. I don't want to keep putting my dreams on pause waiting for life to slow down or for everything around me to be perfect. So today, I chose to begin anyway. 💛 No music.
