Welcome to Soft, Sober Strength - a gentle, God-centered podcast about sobriety, healing and starting over.
Through raw reflections, life-giving scripture, and heartfelt conversations with guests who have walked similar paths, each episode reminds us that strength doesn’t have to be loud to be real - and that soft hearts can hold fierce hope.
Whether you’re on day one or year ten….come as you are.
With God, it’s never too late to come home.
We’ve been growing, learning and figuring things out behind the scenes, and I wanted to let you in on what’s coming next:
🌟10 episodes per season - with the bulk being guest stories.
🌟We need more guests! If you’ve got a story of addiction, recovery, healing, faith, redemption or starting over, I’d love to hear from you. And if you’ve know someone who should be on SSS, send them my way!
🌟YouTube? 👀 I’m considering taking SSS to YouTube as an audio-only podcast, using our visuals while keeping the anonymity that is important to me and the podcast.
Most importantly, thank you 🤍 For every listen, follow, share and message.
And maybe it’s your story that someone needs to hear next 😊

009 - A Story That Looked Fine, Until It Wasn’t - (Part 1)
In this episode of Soft, Sober Strength, we begin Part 1 of a story that challenges the timelines of how addiction is “supposed” to escalate.
She grew up in a stable home, surrounded by provision and opportunity. On the outside everything appeared normal, even great. But quietly, addiction was taking root. What started as patterns and tendencies slowly grew into isolation, escalation and loss.
This episode explores the early unraveling, the moments before things fell apart, the hidden struggles and the loneliness that often accompanies addiction long before anyone notices.
Part 1 invites us to sit with the beginnings
Part 2 will take us deeper into surrender, reckoning and God’s grace.
If any part of this story feels familiar, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!! 🫂

007 - Kept by God: Esther’s Story of Addiction, Loss & Survival - Part 1 🙏
Today I sit with a woman whose story is both heartbreaking and breathtaking. She’s a single mum, a DJ, and someone who has walked through some of the darkest valleys addiction can take a person.
From the wrong crowds, to identity confusion, to pregnancies marked by drinking, to health scares, heartbreak and suicide attempts - her journey is heavy. But through every moment, even the ones she didn’t want to survive, God kept her. He truly kept her.
This episode is raw. It’s tender, and it’s proof that even when we’re lost in darkness, God’s hand is never too short to reach us.
Her story is too full for one conversation, so this will be Part 1. I pray this episode reminds you that no one is too far gone for God.

003 - Sifa’s Story ✨
In this episode, I talk with Sifa, a 25 year old woman whose journey through addiction began long before most people even know who they are.
At just 13, Sifa’s first drink was presented as an initiation into adulthood, a moment that opened a door to years of alcohol and substance use. What followed were seasons of chaos, rebellion and searching. From school expulsions to identity struggles, Sifa lived behind a confident smile while silently fighting her own battles.
But God had another plan 💜
After a turning point conversation with a compassionate doctor, Sifa began her path to recovery. Today, she continues to walk that road in community, reminding us that healing often starts the moment we stop hiding.
This is a story about restoration, courage and the quiet power of God’s love in our weakest moments. 🌸
