SG S3EP.3: FUCK “OTHER PEOPLE’S PERCEPTIONS”
What if you stopped trying to control how people see you? In this episode of Softly Growing, we’re talking about the exhausting habit of worrying about other people’s perceptions of us, constantly trying to explain ourselves, and feeling the need to be understood by everyone. Sometimes, we become so consumed with how we’re perceived that we forget to ask ourselves a much more important question: Am I actually living authentically, or am I living to be accepted? The truth is, people will have their opinions. Some will misunderstand you. Some will create their own narratives about your life. Others will remember an old version of you long after you’ve outgrown it. And that’s okay. This episode is your reminder that you don’t have to defend every decision, explain every chapter, or convince everyone that you’re a good person. You are allowed to grow, change, disappoint expectations, and become someone other people may not understand. Because freedom begins when you stop making other people’s perceptions your responsibility. In this episode, we’re exploring:✨ Letting go of the need for validation.✨ Why being misunderstood isn’t the end of the world.✨ Releasing the pressure to explain yourself.✨ Detaching from other people’s opinions.✨ Giving yourself permission to evolve without seeking approval. This is your invitation to take your energy back, protect your peace, and start living a life that feels true to you. You don’t need everyone to understand you. You need to understand yourself. Welcome to Softly Growing, a gentle space for mindset, healing, and becoming. 🤎 #SoftlyGrowing #SelfWorth #Detachment #PersonalGrowth #Mindset

SG S3EP.2: Fuck “Forgiveness” | Stop Giving People Endless Opportunities to Hurt You | Softly Growing
FUCK FORGIVENESS. How many chances are you supposed to give someone who keeps showing you the same behaviour? In this episode of Softly Growing, we’re questioning the idea that forgiveness automatically means continued access. Sometimes you don’t need another conversation, another explanation, or another chance to prove that you’re understanding. Sometimes you just need to pay attention. When someone repeatedly does you wrong, believe what their actions are telling you. People know that their choices have consequences. And while you may never know exactly what’s going on in someone else’s mind, you can decide what you are going to do with the behaviour they keep showing you. You can forgive without forgetting. You can understand without excusing. You can love someone without giving them unlimited access to you. And you can stop waiting for people to become different when they’ve already shown you exactly who they are. This episode is about boundaries, discernment, self-respect, consequences, and taking your power back — without needing revenge, resentment, or permission. Sometimes forgiveness is letting go of the anger. And sometimes letting go also means letting the relationship, the access, the expectations, and the endless chances go with it. Welcome to the Fuck It series of Softly Growing. See it. Accept it. Act accordingly. 🎧 Listen. Reflect. And, as always… softly grow. #SoftlyGrowing #FuckIt #FuckForgiveness #Boundaries #SelfRespect #Healing #PersonalGrowth #EmotionalBoundaries #LettingGo #SelfWorth

SG S3EP.1: Fvck It! The Art of Choosing Yourself
Welcome to Season 3 of Softly Growing. And this season, we’re saying FUCK IT. Not because we’ve stopped caring. Not because we’re being reckless. But because sometimes choosing yourself means letting go of the things that keep you stuck, small, afraid, or disconnected from the life you actually want. In this first episode, I’m introducing the energy behind this entire season: the decision to say fuck it to anything that steals from us or limits us from living our fullest lives. Fuck it to people-pleasing.Fuck it to fear.Fuck it to guilt.Fuck it to expectations we’ve outgrown.Fuck it to staying somewhere simply because we’re scared to start over.Fuck it to constantly needing permission to be ourselves. Throughout Season 3, we’re going to explore all the different areas of life where a little “fuck it” might actually be the beginning of freedom. Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop overthinking, stop negotiating with yourself, and finally admit: I don’t want to live like this anymore. Welcome to Season 3 of Softly Growing. We’re still growing gently. We’re just not shrinking anymore. 🎧 Listen to Softly Growing on Spotify & Apple Podcasts. #SoftlyGrowing #FuckIt #PersonalGrowth #SelfGrowth #HealingJourney #SelfLove #Mindset #PersonalDevelopment #ChoosingYourself #StartingOver

Episode 14: Pattern Recognition | When Life Keeps Showing You the Same Lesson
What if the things that keep happening in your life aren’t random? In this episode of Softly Growing, we explore the power of pattern recognition — learning to notice the behaviours, choices, relationships and situations that keep repeating throughout our lives. We talk about recognising patterns in love, career, friendships and within ourselves, without turning self-awareness into self-blame. Because sometimes the question isn’t: “Why does this always happen to me?” It’s: “What am I repeatedly choosing, tolerating, avoiding or refusing to see?” And once you recognise the pattern, you can begin to respond differently. A gentle conversation about self-awareness, breaking cycles, personal growth and learning to understand yourself a little more deeply. 🌱 Softly growing, one realisation at a time. #SoftlyGrowing #PatternRecognition #SelfAwareness #PersonalGrowth #HealingJourney #Relationships #Mindset #SelfGrowth

Follow the Evidence | Patterns, Self-Awareness & Personal Growth | Softly Growing Ep.4
n this episode of Softly Growing, we talk about the importance of following the evidence in our lives. Sometimes we want to believe the best in people and situations, but growth asks us to also pay attention to patterns, repeated behaviors, and the dynamics that keep showing up. The evidence is often there — in actions, consistency, and the way certain situations unfold over time. Following the evidence is not about becoming cold or cynical. You’re Not Cold - You’ve Just Outgrown the Dynamic | Boundaries, Growth & Emotional Maturity
In this episode of Softly Growing, we unpack a truth many people struggle with: sometimes you’re not becoming distant or “cold”… you’re simply outgrowing the dynamics that once defined your relationships. Growth changes the way we communicate, the way we respond to conflict, and the way we show up for others. But when you begin setting boundaries, choosing peace, or prioritising emotional maturity, the people around you may interpret that shift as rejection or coldness. In this conversation, we explore the difference between emotional detachment and emotional evolution. We talk about how self-awareness, healing, and personal growth can reshape relationships — and why not everyone will grow with you. This episode is for anyone who has been called “different,” “distant,” or “changed” after doing the inner work. You’re not cold. You’re just no longer participating in dynamics that no longer align with who you’re becoming. Topics we explore: • Why growth can feel like distance to others • The psychology of changing relationship dynamics • Emotional boundaries vs emotional withdrawal • Why outgrowing people is sometimes part of healing • Choosing alignment over familiarity If you’ve ever felt guilty for evolving, this episode will remind you that growth isn’t rejection — it’s realignment. ✨ Softly Growing is a podcast about healing, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and becoming the version of yourself that life is shaping you into.
