Extra: Sit with me
I recorded this episode while watching a beautiful full moon at 3 a.m. As it drifted in and out of view behind the clouds, I was struck by how much this mirrors the experience of depression. When the moon disappeared, I couldn’t see what was happening behind the clouds—but something was still happening. In the same way, when our light feels like it’s fading, it doesn’t mean nothing is going on. This reflection isn’t shared just for insight’s sake, but to offer companionship—even here, even now.
