Guns, Technology, and Freedom: Decoding 3D2A & 1A | Cody Wilson & Marc Beckman

The United States Constitution is more than a document: it's a living experiment in freedom. The First Amendment protects our voices. The Second protects our right to keep and bear arms. But somewhere between speech and weaponry, the line has blurred. Technology once gave us the power to build tools. Now it gives us the power to build anything at home, in minutes, for virtually no cost. Artificial intelligence can write code, design weapons, and distribute information faster than any government can plan. It can replicate human ingenuity and amplify human intent. So what happens when AI meets the Second Amendment? When a machine can create a gun, a bullet, a bomb, and the algorithm decides who can access it? The debate over free speech, safety, and innovation is no longer theoretical. It's here - written in code, printed in metal, and living in the hands of the American people. I'm Mark Beckman. Free Evyatar David | Ilay David & Marc Beckman

Two years. That's how long Evyatar David has been held in captivity, far from his family, his friends, and the music of his life. On this special episode of Some Future Day, we retrace the hours that changed everything, the search that hasn't stopped, and the quiet heroism of a family carrying hope through darkness. I had the honor of speaking with Evyatar's brother, Ilay David, who refuses to let the world look away. Ilay has turned the world upside down to rescue his beloved brother. But what have the United Nations, Red Cross, Bibi Netanyahu, and President Trump done to rescue the hostages? And why does it seem like President Trump has done the most for the hostages? On this two-year mark of his captivity, we remember the person. Not just the politics. Not just the headlines. Not just the antisemitism. And we explore what justice, compassion, and action look like now for Evyatar and for every hostage still waiting. Meet the Guy Fighting to Cure Cancer | Dr. Peter Kash & Marc Beckman

The global biotech industry is worth more than $1.8 trillion, but behind that number is something more powerful: the ability to save lives. And no one understands that better than today's guest, Dr. Peter Kash. Over his 37-year career, Dr. Kash has helped bring seven FDA-approved drugs to market, including an important pediatric leukemia drug. He's raised billions in biotech capital, co-founded more than a dozen companies, and helped push cancer treatments from idea into execution. Peter Kash is chasing cures. He's fighting for kids with brain cancer. He's accelerating AI-driven therapies for glioblastoma, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's. And he believes that within eight years, solid tumor cancers like breast, prostate, and colorectal could have survival rates near 80%, just like today's blood cancers. In a world of politics and profit, Peter is building something deeper: a global alliance of scientists, doctors, and entrepreneurs working together to outsmart disease. So, if you care about medicine, humanity, or what the future could look like, this episode is your wake-up call. Because biotech isn't just about innovation. It's about the mother with ovarian cancer, the child with leukemia, the father battling Parkinson's. Peter, thank you for joining me on this episode of Some Future Day.
