About Someone gave Chris a mic...

Hey friend! Thanks for spending time with me today! This podcast is my collection of teachings, poetry (should probably do more of that lol) and conversation starters about life and God and how those things fit together. I've been deeply impacted by the story of Jesus and want to help others discover him too! I hope that together we can experience a deeper, more real, more complex, and more transforming story. Thanks for going on the journey with me as I discover, grow, learn, and experience God's story as mine! I hope this podcast acts as a conversation. I would love for it to spark more conversations with your friends, family, and me too! So please reach out on social media @chrisjwil about how the story has impacted you. I really believe that God wants to speak life into all of our world's. Whether you do or don't believe in God, follow Jesus, or somewhere in between. This is a conversation EVERYONE is invited to, and I hope that Jesus speaks life to us all!

   The Pursuit of God

Luke 15 What a joy to preach my first Sunday at KAC! This one has lots of stories from summer camp and is a bit of an introduction of me to the church. Can you belong before you believe? What is it about God's radical grace that both draws us and makes us wonder, "am I welcome at the table?"

God with us. Us with others.

What leads to a lasting faith that actually makes a difference to the world around me? If you're a Christian or exploring faith, you've probably asked that question before. And the Bible tells us that we can know God in a way that goes beyond just knowing about him, when we experience the love of God made visible in the person of Jesus! Because the gospel can't just truth to know, it’s a love to be experienced!

A prayer to know love ...

One of the simplest truths that can change everything in your life is that Jesus loves you. But so often that stops at knowing the fact, but in this passage Paul prays that it would move to experience that fills us to the fullness of God.
