In this session, I wanted to figure out how to use Zoom L6 as an audio interface for iPad AUM and route some signals from AUM into L6 hardware so I could send it pre-fader to Octatrack for Live sampling
Session Notes:
1. Use Zoom L6 editor to configure AUX Send Point Edit to set Ch AUX SEND 1 & 2 Pre-fader
2. While using Zoom L6 as an audio interface for iPad AUM, use mix bus to route audio from Radio Unit AU into a mix bus routing this audio to Zoom L6 3/4 USB out. I also send audio through another bus to Delta-V Audio Spacraft.
3. Bring this audio into hardware mixer on Channel 6 (press USB 3/4 button) and route this audio pre-fader, turn down level, turn up AUX 1 and AUX2.
4. Bring Octatrack back into L6 stereo Channel 3 with some reverb from L6 EFX.
5. Start transport on AUM
6. Live sample audio to get some buffers loaded.
7. Improvise a take recording into L6
Recording Notes:
L6 records master and individual tracks. This means I had a clean isolated recording of Octatrack and AUM 1/2 bus separately. Pre-fader USB 3/4 input on Channel 6 excluded send audio from recording.

S05-E03: Love Transcends
This song was improvised using MPE multi-touch to control analog modeled synths through a Frippertronics looper. It was first performed at the Stellar Lounge astronomy concert which was a collaboration with the Colorado State Parks and Wildlife.
