[…] If you don't keep on trying to get better, it just ain't going to happen. You know, bridges like got so many things going on at one time. But what I use in bridge the most is logic. Like when somebody says, what makes you a good bridge player? It must be math and this and that. And I'm like, no, you know, it's logic. The smart people figure out what the math play is, and then I just remember that. I don't actually do the math. I just know approximately what the math plays are. But using logic, like, okay, your opponent thinks for a couple seconds and plays a card or thinks for a couple seconds and responds a heart or a couple seconds and doesn't bid. […]
