Episode 29- Rumi wisdom The way you love reveals your heart

The way you love may reveal more about your heart than the person you love. If you are carrying heartbreak, replaying an ending, or wondering why love keeps turning into anxiety, this Rumi-inspired reflection offers a radically different question: what if love was never meant to be possession? In this deeply poetic episode of Soul Healing Poetry, the host explores Rumi's vision of love as a teacher, a mirror, and a doorway back to the divine. What begins as a meditation on romantic attachment unfolds into a powerful reminder that the beloved may awaken something that was already within you - tenderness, fear, longing, wounds, surrender, even the capacity to heal. You’ll discover: Why Rumi treats love as spiritual work, not just emotional fulfillment How to tell the difference between love, attachment, fear, and possession Why someone leaving does not mean love has left your life The hidden question heartbreak can teach you: what did loving them reveal about me? How boundaries, release, and dignity can be part of love Why the deepest longing behind human love may actually be longing for God The episode traces the movement from fixation to reflection, from “Why did they leave?” to “What did this open in me?” Along the way, it names the ways fear can disguise itself as love, how control can shrink the heart, and why the heart's breaking can become the beginning of a more spacious, more truthful kind of love. You’ll also hear an original poetic piece, “The Mirror of Love,” followed by a short breathwork reflection to help you sit with the episode's central question: How do I love? Not how did others love me, but how do I love? If you are healing from loss, questioning a relationship, or searching for a more expansive understanding of love, this episode meets you there with comfort, clarity, and spiritual depth. Essential listening for anyone ready to stop chasing love and start understanding what love is meant to do in the heart. Episode 28- Rumi wisdom on Winter of the Heart

[EPISODE DESCRIPTION - Ready to publish] When your heart feels empty, you may not be failing you may be in winter. The Winter of the Heart offers a deeply comforting reminder that silence, loss, and waiting are not always signs that something is broken. Sometimes they are the hidden season where roots grow. This episode speaks directly to anyone moving through grief, exhaustion, spiritual dryness, disappointment, or a life season that feels unfinished. The Episode explores the ache of closed doors and quiet prayers, then reframes it through the language of nature, transformation, and divine timing. Drawing on the mystery often echoed in Rumi’s poetry, she shows why what looks barren on the outside may be alive beneath the surface. You’ll hear a gentle meditation on why the tree does not panic in winter, why the seed is buried before it flowers, and why your heart may need rest before it can receive again. Ghulama Mustafa also shares her original poem The Winter of the Heart, a moving piece about grief, surrender, and the unseen growth that happens when nobody is applauding. You’ll discover: Why emotional winter is not the same as failure How to recognize hidden growth in seasons of waiting The spiritual power of surrendering control and stop “digging up the seed” A calming breath practice to settle the body before the poem A reframing of pain that protects hope without denying reality This is a reminder for the weary, the grieving, and the quietly hopeful: not everything beautiful arrives blooming. Some answers come later. Some mercy arrives as waiting. And some of the deepest changes in you happen before anyone else can see them. Essential listening if you need comfort, perspective, or a softer way to trust the season you’re in.
