Why Sex Became a "Sin": Sacred Sexuality Series

Many people continue to erroneously believe that sex is a sin, or wrong, or bad, which is often at the root of shame, guilt, and patterns of swinging from repression to indulgence.
However, historically speaking, sex was never considered a sin. The idea that sex is a sin was a much later innovation and based on a misinterpretation of religious texts.
