In this message from our Samuel series, we look at David’s preparation to face Goliath and discover what it takes to become a giant killer. David knew who he was, stayed faithful in obscurity, took care of the small things, saw obstacles as opportunities, and trusted in the name of the Lord instead of human strength.
The same God who prepared David in the hidden places is preparing us to face the battles ahead. Our victory doesn’t come from our own ability, resources, or strength—the battle belongs to the Lord, and with Him there is no giant too big.
Ultimately, David points us to Jesus, our true Champion, who defeated sin, death, and the devil. As we follow Him and trust in His power, He forms us into people who can confidently face the giants in our lives.

Obedience Changes Everything
In this message from our Samuel series, we look at Saul’s partial obedience and discover why to obey is better than sacrifice. Saul followed God’s command only as far as he was willing to surrender, revealing how the sin we keep alive can hinder our growth, transformation, and advancement in God’s purposes. Jesus isn’t simply asking for our religious activity, He wants every area of our lives fully surrendered to Him. As we listen to the Holy Spirit, repent, and choose obedience, we take another step toward becoming everything God has called us to be and living the victorious life He has for us.

Living in Your Perhaps
In this message from our Samuel series, we look at Jonathan’s bold decision to stop hiding and start taking ground for God. While Saul chose self-preservation, Jonathan stepped into the unknown believing, “Perhaps the Lord will act on our behalf,” because nothing can hinder God from saving by many or by few.
We’re challenged to lay down the need to protect our comfort, image, time, and control, pick up our cross, and live for a purpose bigger than ourselves. When we surrender the “self-life” and keep climbing with Jesus, God can use even our smallest acts of obedience to impact our homes, workplaces, campuses, and communities. So live in the “perhaps”—because you never know what God may do through your next step of faith.
