We're back! And I have some great stuff for you! I'm going to be recording several episodes over the next few days/weeks and we're going to be diving in to tranformations and reinvention. I'm sharing how my life has changed dramatically since last year and the lessons I have learned along the way.
Today's episode is all able how your life really can change in just ONE year.
Think about where you were this time last year. What did your life look like? What were you worried about? What were you hoping would change (or mabye not change)?
Then, imagine someone had told you that twelve months from that moment, your life would look completely different. Would you believe them? Odd are, you couldn't see the future version of yourself from where you were standing.
Change doesn't happen overnight, but it sure can happen in one year!
one decision → one action → one more action → another decision → repeat
And twelve months is a long time.
Long enough to:
learn a skill
change careers
improve your finances
repair your credit
build a business
get healthier
move
make new relationships
establish new habits
completely change your direction
Not necessarily all of them.
But any one of them can change the trajectory of your life.
The one part we don't talk enough about: you have to start before you see the evidence. And that's messy!
You don't have to know exactly where you'll be in a year to begin moving today.
Which might seem contradictory to the idea of starting on a journey-you have to have a destination in order to being planning a route, right? But…
What if you give yourself one year?
Today, write down three things.
Where am I right now?
Where would I love to be one year from now?
What is one thing I can do this week to move toward it?
Not 25 things.
One.
Then next week, another.
You are not stuck.
Your timeline isn't fixed.
You can change your mind.
You don't have to be married to the how.
You don't need to consume more—you need to act.
And above all:
Your life can look radically different a year from now.

Toxic Positivity
Let's talk about "toxic positivity." The definition, according to ChatGPT, is (in part): the excessive and ineffective overgeneralization of a happy, optimistic state across all situations.
In this episode, I share my recently personal struggles with this very thing. Everyday we are inundated with creators and influencers telling us to just keep going and stay positive. Keep a good attitude to raise our vibration. But what happens when you consume so much of that content that it feels like a let down when your goals are materializing instantly?
This episode is labeled as explicit because I drop a few "f" bombs. But let's get real and talk about this. Has this had an effect in your life? If so, what have you done or have you handled it? Let's chat!
