[…] And that's what we did. And we spotted a couple bulls from this spot. In fact, I'll back up just a little bit. The first morning, we get out of the tent, and we go right up that first little bluff and get on top, and he hears a bull grunt. And he's got a decoy with him, a cow moose decoy. And so he starts calling, and we call a nice bull into, I think he came in to 30 or 35 yards. And when he was coming in, I said, what do you think? And he said, I think we can do better. So 30 or 35 yards is very doable on a moose. But I really wanted a close encounter is what I wanted. And despite the fact that, you know, you shoot 60 or 70 yards with a compound, especially at a moose, that big of a target, I just wanted the experience of having one at 20 yards. […]
