[…] Well, psychotherapy, just the general practice of being an MFT, for example, which is different than a psychologist or a psychiatrist, is oriented toward developing problem-solving techniques generally. For the individual coming in, we're looking to provide many practices or more evidence-based type of practice of cognitive behavioral approaches. in therapy, you know, and as well as deepening one's connection to the emotional field. And it's very useful. It's very useful. But there's a different orientation to the unconscious. Most practices in psychotherapy as an MFT is not oriented to the unconscious unless you go to, say, Pacifica, which used to kind of help develop that capacity. […]
