Have you ever prayed, opened your Bible, or worshipped but still felt far away from God?
In this episode, “God Is Still Near When You Feel Nothing,” we explore the comforting promise found in Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart.”
Spiritual dryness can make you question whether God has forgotten you. However, your feelings do not determine His presence. Even when you cannot feel Him, God is near, listening, and working.
In this five-minute episode, you will receive biblical encouragement, a simple reflection, a practical faith step, and a heartfelt prayer to help you trust God during spiritually dry seasons.
Take five quiet minutes to pause, receive God’s Word, and remember: God has not left you.

When God Closes a Door: A Powerful Christian Motivational Story About Trusting God
In this powerful Christian motivational story, Grace experiences rejection after praying and preparing for the job she believed was meant for her. Although she cannot understand God’s answer, she eventually discovers that the closed door was not rejection—it was God’s protection and redirection.
Sometimes, God closes a good door because He is leading us towards something better. His “no” does not mean He has forgotten you. He may be protecting you from something you cannot see or guiding you into a purpose you have not yet discovered.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
If you are facing disappointment, rejection, or an unexpected change of direction, this story will encourage you to keep praying, preparing, and trusting God.
